It was non-dramatic, but this questioning in this video occurred a bit over a year ago, IIRC.
In her questioning, she established that the FBI had a “practice” of notifying Congress of ongoing investigations on a quarterly basis; and that Comey had said that in his kind of boy scout fashion. So, here they are spring 2017 and the FBI investigation which had been going on for basically nine months, there had been no Cong notification. It was really one of the very first times Comey was caught in a lie (or at minimum a piece of serious awkwardness) which of course resulted in utterly nothing. It also showed Comey’s particular style of letting the classified nature of certain things cover up or justify lies on a more general, non-classified level. Hers was the first or among the first times when the questioning got much better than the Darrell Issa disconnected lack-of-attention-span goofball mode of asking “So you DID like turnips?” “Well, then where were you last Thursday”?
