Eventually, maybe. But I agree with you. Many people, myself included, turned off and found other stuff to do on a Sunday.
I found some of that other activity more fun. Our family is far away from a TV on Sundays now. I don't think I will ever be glued to the games as I once was.
But for the record....I'm still not watching. Last year was the first time in decades I did not watch the Super Bowl.
1st strike = 8 game suspension + no pay
2nd strike = 1 year suspension + no pay
3rd strike = NFL ban for life

I’m not excusing them but it seems like nowadays EVERYONE feels compelled to break the old rule of not discussing religion or politics at work. I doubt many on FR go in to work and have spirited debates about abortion, gun control, or the Franco-Prussian Alliance of 1821. Yet we have maniacs in the US accosting co-workers and customers over MAGA hats, the border, etc. What ever happened to shutting up and singing?
