Who knows, maybe Mueller’s strategy to go after Manafort from the beginning was just to provide a pathway of immunity for the Podesta’s.

There are a couple of types of immunity. The first is “use.
“ Use immunity is immunity from the Prosecutor for information/testimony related to a single case or charge.
“Transactional Immunity” gives the individual blanket immunity for all charges up to the time of the testimony.
Transactional Immunity is what you want as a defendent.
Ask an Iranian.
That’s exactly what The Conservative Treehouse said, that Mueller didn’t need Podesta to prosecute Manafort, but he DID need to prosecute Manafort to give Podesta immunity.
Manafort may be a convenient excuse to provide the Podestas with immunity.
If so, just what in Hades have the Podestas been up to...

Mueller has authority to grant immunity by himself? He’s got way too much power.
In our community we do pray for President Trump and his family quite often. I’m sure we’re not the only ones either.
The fact that the entire deep state, media, majority of the uniparty have worked 24/7 to take him down to no avail tells me God hears the prayers.
But how did this leak get out? I wouldn’t think Mueller would want this out. This is one of the few leaks that helps Trump. Proves what a farce this all is, unless Manafort was a plant. The key to this is what Podesta would-be testifying about and what deal he got. That would shed light on this.
I seriously think these actions and others are to bait Trump into some type of obstruction, strengthening a rationale for an impeachment vote should Dems win. Trump isn’t biting.....
Since Mueller is “special”, do his immunities apply to the “ordinary” prosecutors.

I think that’s exactly right.
They’re dealing with a man who doesn’t fear them, and is likely way ahead of them...and a man that holds all the cards. He can declassify whatever he wants, whenever he wants, and they know it.
We’re going to be in for one thing after another till the voters speak in November.
