How much more protected by attorney-client privilege could such a recording be?

If we’re doing away with attorney-client privilege to this extent, then there should be no barrier to a full-scale raid and seizure of all materials from Perkins Coie.

Not every conversation with a lawyer is privileged. If Cohen was not acting an Trump's lawyer with respect to that matter, there's no privilege.
