Not really.The Constitution of Massachusetts guarantees the right to "gay marriage" (as ruled by our Supreme Court in 2004),recognizes the right to abortion (as ruled many times by our courts) and refuses to recognize the right of our citizens to keep and bear arms (as ruled many times by our courts,as recently as 2014).
That is a peculiar observation since other than the Constitution's guarantee of a Republican Form of Government the Constitution is not about how state governments will function and it is not about the people.
The Constitution is solely about how the Federal Government will function within the enumerated powers of legislation granted.
