Trying to find love in D.C. can be tricky. If you’re a young Trump administration staffer, it might be near impossible.
GOP employees and other right-wingers have been complaining that dating in one of the most Democratic cities in America is a political minefield.
They’ve been called out, flipped off and told they are personally responsible for the death of democracy.
One 29-year-old lobbyist told Fox News that learning to date in a Trump world is “absolutely insane.”
“It’s getting so bad,” the lobbyist, who asked to remain anonymous because she works with the administration, said.

Eh, this is partly true... but also because this town is full of Never Trumpers AS WELL AS democrats. Many in the Never Trump crowd are either religious born-agains or part of the ivy league think tank right.
My advice to these lovelorn younguns... leave the city and head to the suburbs. There may be more dems... but even Maryland has a population of 40% republican.

Absolutely! My pops gave me the same advice. It took only a few years get it.
She was a LCMS Lutheran, but was drifting hard lib by the time I met her.
She wasn’t pro abort yet, but had very defined views on things like the second amendment, illegal immigration (I don’t support slavery), and such that kept coming up.
We both decided to move on. I think she later became ELCA and a pastoress.
There are venues for conservatives interested in dating in the DC area. But, by definition, you will not be at the hippest parties with the most highly-worshipped public personalities.
Consider themselves fortunate, it will save them a lot of heartache (and diseases) down the road.

I think Trump agrees, considering that his ex is a Czech, and his current wife is Slovenian.
In DC, you’re nearly as likely to find a Trump-hating, pro-abort, radical leftist hag in a church, especially a Catholic church, as you are in a bar favored by DNC drones.
But there are supplementary locales.
If one is looking for nice people, they can probably be found, even if not everyone is nice. There are a few people in my own parish that I don’t really like, but many more of whom I’m very fond.
As they say, “If you want a friend in DC, get a dog.”
My parents had friends when they lived in DC. They didn’t work in politics, though.
There are always exceptions to be found.
But un DC, most church-goers, especially in Catholic churches, are SJWs.
We find this even where we live, some 35 miles from DC.
In my wife’s bible study this year was a woman running for state delegate who was a liberal, pro-abort Democrat SJW. She often commandeered the study to serve as her platform to declaim the wonders of her candidacy.
Others, incluing my wife, protested. They were shut down.
I’m glad I live here in Boring, instead.
With any luck, we won’t be here much longer. JFK had it right: northern charm, southern efficiency.
