Last week we told you about Family Guys bizarre fixation with child sex abuse. This week, the writers of Family Guy doubled-down on the offensive content with an art exhibit featuring pictures of hundreds of babies in suggestive situations, and Quagmire performing an inappropriate magic act at a childrens birthday party.
Quagmire: (subtitled) Hey, can you guys knock it off? Im banging a chick with epilepsy and youre giving her a seizure. Actually, keep it up. Everything is seizing. Its great.
Peter: Women will always band together to stop an offensive art exhibit from coming to town, so Ive arranged for all my photos of baby wieners to be put on display.
Cleveland: Oh, Peter, Im gonna have to call the police on this.
Peter: What? Why? Its to get our wives back together.
Cleveland: Peter, these are hundreds of naked babies in suggestive situations. And their time stamped as far back as 1998, which is way before we had this idea.
Peter: I need help!
Quagmire performs at Susies birthday party:
Quagmire: Theres the birthday girl. Whats that behind your ear? Oh, its a condom.
Joe: Quagmire, please stop touching my baby with a condom.
Quagmire: And for my next trick, Im gonna split my beautiful assistant in half. And not the way you think. Wont be needing this [holds up the condom and makes it disappear].
“The threat to the public is that this stuff normalizes perversion and encourages the public to accept it.”
I am a member of ‘the public’ and I do not allow myself to be encouraged and I will not be threatened to accept what I may find offensive.
Story about “Anon” and Hollywood pedos:
Few people on this website are susceptible to subtle brainwashing. We tend to be a thinking and questioning bunch. However, most people are not. The threat lies from the greater public seizing upon a bad idea and accepting it.
Many people rely on television for social cues, and if television says pedophilia is acceptable, over time the public will come to view this as true.
This is why it is so dangerous to have such serious power in the hands of a very few coastal elites. Their morals are not our morals, and they have been pumping sewage (and lies/misdirection) into the public consciousness.
We need to take steps to get this power away from them. Ignoring them and letting them feed the public this sort of stuff may be the easy thing to do, but it will eventually come back to haunt us.
Among the early writers (first season) of Family Guy were Swampy Marsh and Dan Povenmire. The same guys who gave us Phineas and Ferb.
They quit and went their own way when Fox canceled the show at the end of the first season. And were busy when Fox decided not to cancel the show.
