Seems like the USA, with it’s abundant natural resources, could feed, build, make and mine everything it needs with very few exceptions. It’s just globalist want to make a quick buck as middlemen and destroy the middle class in the process. No other country does this to it’s own people, treats them like they were invisible. Every other country has higher tariffs than us and runs a trade surplus with the USA. I am surprised that Free Traitors haven’t been hunted down and shot by now. This proves we are a peaceful people indeed. But there are limits.
This thread is about farmers...why are you suggesting they cannot sell to whoever they want to to be able to feed their families? You are the one suggesting we destroy the middle class farmer!
Drago, farmers are less than 1% of the workforce. I have no love for them as they are the biggest employer of stoop legal and illegal labor. Screw them.
Wow, I guess your “middle class” is pretty specific then...and you must raise all your own food? Impressive! What part of the middle class are you championing? Just steel workers? Or ?
I guess you build your own cars in your garage, impressive!
Drago, Free Traitors are burden on the Republican Party, MAGA and Trump. Go away.
I am not the one arguing for tariffs or a trade war (that would be you). BTW I am a "Fair Trader" not the globalist-free-trader "Bushies" terminology you throw around. The goal is to eliminate foreign tariffs & unfair trade practices...dropping $12 billion to "fix" something seems like an expensive "oops".
Just remembering the day in 1970 when we could afford our first color TV. It was totally made in the USA. It cost $420. That is $2600 in 2018 $$$.
Does anyone REALLY want to go back to those times?
The technology has changed. That is what makes TV’s cheap. now. So how much labor do you think is in a $400 imported TV? Maybe an hour? ( probably not that much ) So if Made in the USA the TV would cost $450.00. Not a huge difference.
