Let me get this straight. She was pool reporter at a meet between potus and an EU bigwig......but she asked questions about Putin and a Playboy bunny?

Well, sure! As a reporter, it’s her job to try to embarrass or humiliate the Pre......oh, wait...

Keeping to the topic for which they were granted this access is a matter of basic decorum in front of a foreign leader who is a mission-specific guest in our nation.

The press has always, under every administration, asked questions unrelated to the event at these availabilities.

Add to that the fact that Trump has a history of responding to these unrelated questions and it's hard to argue the pool reporter was out of line.

I couldn’t agree more, that would be most appropriate.

But it’s turning into a free for all. They’ve become not reporters but paparazzi trying to get a startled look so they can put it on the nightly news and then talk about it for 45 minutes. There’s no dignity anymore. I’m tired of it.

The the creep at FOX Baire tweets in support of CNN.

Because Baire is a bloated, phony, discredited blob of s**t.

Another classic example of “I got you fake news!”

She will wear it as a badge of honor instead of the mark of shame.

I saw Bret Baier stand behind CNN on Special Report. I need to research alternatives to cable as I’m sick of supporting cable news with my monthly bill.

When the media people in question are incapable of holding their water, and generally act like irresponible children, then someone has to be the adult. Mostly that means the leaders elected by the people, not whores and jerkoffs elected by nobody.

Trump doesn’t have to take any questions from the press at all. There’s zero requirement for that.

Nor does he need to allow everyone who wants to to join in his event where he does take questions.

These are privileges. They could retaliate against this with bad coverage, but there’s no way they could cover him with more hostility than they already do, so that would make no difference whatsoever.

These are called “consequences”. And they’re pretty light consequences - Jim Acosta for one should be in jail, as should Donna Brazile.

Remember when no one yelled questions at Obama? They were called on to ask their “question” then Obama took 20 minutes not answering it? Remember when Fox News was constantly not invited? Remember when one guy did yell a question ticking off Obama and was then chased down the street by other reporters shouting at him?

>>Gahanna Bob<< - - Do a couple searches on “Kodi” Then do a couple more searches on “kodi builds”...Then do a search on “DUREX KODI” and watch a video on it. Saved me over $150 a month and I have way more than Comcast / Xfinity ever delivered.

Cut the cord in 2016 - and never looked back.

Certainly true.

Nor does he need to allow everyone who wants to to join in his event where he does take questions.

Also true, but in this case the reporter was the only one there - as a pool reporter representing all of the news organizations.

If those are the kind of questions the pool is serving up at a trade summit photo-op, then the pool is not needed at all.

Go to the video and listen to her “questions” (really: propaganda and accusations) in context.

She wasn’t merely asking questions; she was attempting to disrupt the event, just as Jim Acosta did at the NK summit.

She should have been hauled out by security at that very moment and given a black eye in the process.

It really isn’t up to our elected leaders to decide what questions the press is allowed to ask them.

Depending on the venue, it is their right (this includes both sides).

This was not a free for all venue with the questions open to any subject.

There is a time and a place for everything.
