Over the last 10 months, we’ve caught the DOJ: - Withholding documents - Hiding text messages - Ignoring deadlines - Engaging in potential FISA abuse - Defying Congressional subpoenas Just to name a few examples. Enough is enough. People need to be held accountable.

I must confess that I’m ignorant of the procedure. I fully understand the impeachment and removal process for the elected Executive Branch members and the Judicial Branch. But not of appointed officeholders. I had always assumed they were just fired.

If the Democrats and GOP Establishment thought the FBI/DOJ corruption in the 2016 election is going away soon, they are sorely mistaken.
We are not even into the prime political season for the 2018 election and we have the latest push to impeach the #2 guy at the DOJ.

Maybe this is an opportunity for Sessions to reverse his recusal on the grounds that the original basis of his recusal was based on falsified evidence, illegal domestic spying, and a corrupt investigation by the FBI?
Sessions was lured into recusing himself on false pretenses, aided by Democrats pressuring him into it to isolate Trump and effectively overturn the 2016 election.

What is the legal theory for this? POTUS nominated him to serve as Deputy AG. POTUS or the AG can dismiss him.
Congress has authority to impeach judges, because those are life-time appointments.
This would seem to be another useless Congressional waist of time.
