DHS Massively Expands Enforcement Against Illegals’ Employers
Breitbart ^ | July 24, 2018 | by Neil Munro

The Department of Homeland Security has dramatically raised worksite enforcement to deter employers from hiring cheap illegal workers.

Since October, the agency’s Homeland Security Investigations unit has checked employment records at 6,093 worksites, up from 1,716 in the prior fiscal year from October 2016 to the end of September 2017. The current pace of checks in 2018 is almost a five-fold increase from the prior year and included 100 stores in the 7-Eleven chain and 77 companies in California.

The agency has made 675 criminal arrests of managers or supervisors, plus 984 administrative arrests of illegals in the last nine months, versus 139 criminal arrests and 172 administrative arrests during the prior 12 months, according to a DHS statement. That is a five-fold increase in criminal arrests and a sixfold increase in administrative arrests.

In 2018, the DHS agency has also conducted several large-scale raids, including a meatpacker in Tennessee, and a meatpacker and landscaping firm in Ohio.

Amid President Donald Trump’s high-pressure economy, the enforcement actions push employers to fire illegals on their staff and to raise wages for Americans.

But but no undocumented immigrant took a job from American citizens. /s

All of these illegals working construction and other skilled trades for $5/hr under the table are preventing Americans with valuable skills worth $20+/hr from making a good living to support themselves and their families.

Bush and Obama did essentially nothing because they are globalists and don’t give a good damn about Americans.

A lot of these employers need to spend time in jail.

Do any of the illegal alien lovers have the slightest clue how many American lives are ruined every year by illegals? The answer is either they do not, or like our cheap labor express DC whores they simply don’t care.

I have concluded that the majority of the left holds the average hard working, responsible American in disdain. They view us as “the great unwashed” who are unworthy of their respect or even common courtesy.

Not just grapes/lettuce-There are hardly any white/black Americans working in the medical fields as receptionists, techs, where they require Spanish language. This is infuriating and needs to be addressed.

It’s my take that it isn’t just the left that holds Deplorables in disdain. It’s the majority of the elected parasites who went into office only to “give back to the people”. Their gravy train comes from the donations and perks furnished by employers who are using this cheap illegal labor to fatten their wallets. Congress as a whole (with only a few exceptions) will vote to impeach or somehow remove President Trump because he’s tearing up too many playhouses. They can’t allow this to continue happening.

If they want illegals fired they need to reform the cumbersome e-verify process.

We the People need to keep reporting these job sights where there are an abundance of these illegal invaders employed. I know I do and before any work is done that I pay for, the contractor is quized and if there is a hint of illegals they are gone and ICE is called.

Made in America by American Citizens is my saying. IF it is MiA and not by We the People then it is as good as being made in Mehico or China.

True, but often the illegals hand over fake documents, and as long as they are reasonable facsimiles of real ones, it is illegal for employers to challenge them—or discriminate based on them.

Understand.

I meant that aside from agricultural field hand type work, we do not need any foreign workers. I’m in favor of giving farmers, who show the need, limited access to hire foreigners (which we know as Mexicans) to come pick lettuce, and other assorted tasks, until such time as this type of work is automated at a reasonable cost and human pickers are no longer needed.

Still, we need to consider how we handle any who try to sneak out into the country rather than work or return when finished. If it is impossible, then maybe we all need to be ready for 5 dollar heads of lettuce...

I fail to note the enforcement vs. the illegal enablers: GOVT (at all levels).

No rounding up of those whom violate their oath of office, aid/abet, collude, obstruct, etc.

Biz: the red-headed step-child\whipping-boy\piggy-bank of obtrusive, over-bearing, law-breaking govt everywhere

Construction work by illegals is also dangerous.

Years ago at a Bloomberg meeting, someone asked why the city allows it. Bloomberg: We can’t control it.

Surely that is not true! Real reason: Legitimate construction companies are too expensive for cheap landlords to use.

Side effect of nonlicensed construction companies is prejudice in hiring. Only Mexicans allowed.

Yes. I recall back in the 80s when I was a manager, I couldn’t hire anyone until I submitted an INS form (form I-9 I think) and 3 pieces of ID with name and address and one with a photo. That law is still on the books. It’s about time the Gubmint started holding employers feet to the fire again.
