Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.) is trailing Democratic challenger Tony Evers by 13 points in the upcoming Wisconsin gubernatorial race, according to a new poll released Thursday.

Of the registered voters surveyed in the NBC News/Marist poll, 41 percent backed Walker in the race, compared to the 54 percent who supported Evers.

When asked if Walker deserves to be reelected, 34 percent of the voters agreed with the statement. Sixty-one percent said a new person should be given a chance, and 5 percent were unsure.

Walker may be the best governor in America

Unless it's the guy in Texas.

I believe that the poll says that; I jsut don’t believe it’s accurate.

But Pinkbell nailed the 2016 Election Night call when Hillary Clinton decisively won her first term as President ...

That has to count for something.

Foxconn has just put its first major construction jobs into action, bought a downtown Milwaukee building for its headquarters, and purchased another facility in the Green Bay area for another 200 jobs.

The Dems and media have gotten to kick the whole project around since announced but now the construction and white collar jobs are starting to kick into gear with plenty of time before the election.

please, everyone, go to hot air and read their piece showing this poll for the push poll for the media it really is. That’s my phrase, but their piece is still worth reading. Walker is young, and he was the first guy who was smart enough to drop out against Trump. The Left remains terrified of him.

Indiana has no tolls and the roads are good but its a bit a ****pit in places

Indiana most certainly does have a toll road. It’s not as much as Ohio’s but I think it’s privately owned. I know this as the house that I grew up in is 4 blocks away from the westernmost exit before entering Illinois.

Yep. Meanwhile, I had Trump at “between 300 and 320 electoral votes” in August 2015 on Twitter. Final 306, and he missed carrying NH by 1,500 (3) and MN by 40,000-—virtually all early voters swayed by the sex tape. Those two put together=320.

Due to chicanery in Milwaukee and Dane Counties, it may be close - Evers (D, Current Super of Schools) is not a strong candidate anywhere else in the state.

There are even recorded statements by Evers stating that Governor Walker is ‘The Education Governor’ because he’s doing a lot to shore up our woeful inner-city and rural schools with vouchers and school choice programs.

That’ll make a GREAT Campaign Ad, LOL!

Baldwin is going to have the race of her life.

My bet is that Leah Vukmir CAN beat her - she just needs to beat Nichols, first and he has come out of literally NOWHERE and has a bunch of Dark Money Pacs supporting him...

...which is how we got stuck with Tammy in the FIRST place.

THAT is the race to watch. I’m not concerned about Governor Walker winning. :) KWA! (Keep Wisconsin Great!) :)

I find it really goofy that people want to supposedly “give someone else a chance”. Geesh, policy doesn’t matter, we will give it all up to be fair. Stupid people

Or the "change" voters....We voted for "change", but we didn't realize the Dems would tank the economy, I would lose my job, they would tax my inheritance, my kid would be hit by an drunk unlicensed illegal alien, my job hopes are terrible as their is 1,000 people applying for one job, my rising property taxes forced me to low my house, Our declining military is putting our safety at risk, our neighborhood has been over run with MS-13 gang members, I' can't sell some property because the EPA says rabbits might be endangered and I have rabbits on the land....

The issue is Madison. Its continues to grow fast with the tech industry. These jobs are being filled with west coast liberals. As we saw in the last election, the rest of state is having trouble turning out in enough numbers. Soon we will be like chicago-illinois. I am already making plans to move to south dakota.

“I find it really goofy that people want to supposedly ‘give someone else a chance’.”

Like my idiot MIL said in 2008, “I think we should give that nice young black man a chance”. And she voted for Obama.

We reminded her of that a few times. First was when we left CA for TN because, thanks to “that nice young black man”, DH’s job in defense was shut down.

Later on when she complained about medical issues we reminded her those times.

I guess it was mean, because she was old. But she was far from senile and we were pissed.

I moved out of Dane County 2 years ago. I’m going to stay and fight because I was born here.

We’ve made great strides. I’m really excited to see how the Mid-Terms turn out. Red Tsunami ahead! :)

Walker was my early-on favorite in the 2016 race.

As you recall he dropped out rather early.
My read on that was he had been ordered to drop out by the GOP establishment, who had decided to clear the tracks for Jeb!

He apparently saluted and followed orders.
It is that as much as anything that will hurt him with the Trump voters. They don’t cotton to GOPe lackeys.

I think he lacked charisma. Trump has it. But even Cruz has more charisma than Walker, and Cruz isn’t what I’d call charismatic.

Walker’s other problem was that he spent like a drunken sailor from the beginning. Despite being flush with cash, his campaign ran out of gas because he ran out of money. The other aspect is that he was already governor. Using up all of his campaign cash from his gubernatorial campaign might doom his re-election effort. A bird in the hand ...

Besides, people who want to be president don’t listen to the naysayers. Rubio and Kasich hung on long after it was clear they would not get the nomination, because they wanted Trump to win. Which in their estimation meant they would get to try again in 2020, since Trump couldn’t possibly beat Hillary, whereas Cruz might.
