He’s got my GOP representative in Arizona beat.

Martha McSally: 12% Planned Parenthood, ACU 67%. Makes Flake look like a Lion of Conservatism!

She’s running for the Senate and would be better than her bisexual socialist opponent...but I’m hoping Kelli Ward will beat her. Doesn’t help having “Sheriff Joe” splitting the conservative vote, though. So I might end up holding my nose and casting a vote for one of the most liberal republicans in Congress.

The Cook Political Partisan Index for KS3 is +4 R and voted for Clinton in 2016. This district is full of lefty suburban women from Johnson County who are registered as Republican. It is one of the most vulnerable Republican seats in the country.

That’s a good question. Johnson County wasn’t a warm place for Bernie Sanders the other day, but they are unlikely to welcome Trump either. I think that economic growth, fulfillment of Trump campaign promises, and the overall national optimism will help. The issue will be decided on turnout. Will the Democrats in Kansas turn out. I doubt it. Will the women of Johnson County turn out and which way will they vote, R or D? I don’t know.

Sure...why not toss out Yoder? Big deal. Then the republicans will lose the House. Trump will get impeached by the House led by Pelosi. All the House committees led by dems will investigate the president and all the agencies and departments in the Executive branch on all kinds of things and Trump can't run for reelection as an impeached president.

The idiots on this site are colossal. No understanding and no foresight at all. Just get rid of the guy. There I'll show him.

You make an excellent point. I totally lost track of the big picture. Pelosi (or worse) is always looming in the background. Sigh.

I think you just keep repeating thing over and over and over and over and over in your ‘mind’. Works for you, keeps you away from sentient beings.

I think that economic growth, fulfillment of Trump campaign promises, and the overall national optimism will help.

Johnson County is already pretty affluent with low unemployment and high household income. If Kobach wins the nomination for governor then it may not be to the Floaters benefit. People will come out in droves to vote against him.

Don’t underestimate the effect of an improving economy on the voters of Leawood. They see balance sheets, revenue reports, upticks in business trends, and sales figures. They will like it and want more. As for Kobach, I would love it if he were Governor, but I don’t think that he can win this year, and if he wins the primary it will hurt the Republicans across Kansas. We could lose the Governor race and at least two Congressional seats. It would be a disaster.

Fine. Let the Dems take the House. And I can say I told you so.

Yes. We will win most of these, but we only have 23 seats to play with. The way you score in this game is this way:

R: xx D: xx

The side with the bigger number wins.

It really wouldn’t be him letting the Democrats take the house, it would be the GOP letting the democrats take the house by sucking as much as the GOP does.

At some point, there’s going to be a price to pay for betraying its base.

/shrug

Oh brother...another idiot. I hope it happens for you, too. The House will impeach Trump led by Pelosi...all the House committees investigating every thing Trump does, making up scandals, demanding millions of pages of docs from the White House and departments and agencies. Absolutely bringing the Executive branch to a halt and there is nothing anyone can do about it - even Trump. The odds are he can't run for reelection as an impeach president and if he does, can you imagine the Republican challengers first and then the general election, all because Snowflakes like you don't like all the republicans.

I hope it happens, so I can say I told you so.

I’m not an idiot.

The GOP is a bunch of idiots.

I’m going to vote for my congressman, Gaetz, because I like the job he’s done for me, so you don’t have to worry about me being a snowflake, mkay.

But if other people aren’t happy with the job their congressman did for them, they have every right to vote or not vote as they see fit.

And yes, I know what the Democrats will do if they win the house.

No one is under any obligation to continue to elect a traitorous congress critter.

So, you cheerfully admit to being just another R cheerleader with no conservative principles. Thank you for the self identification.

Oh - and you’re back just in time to browbeat principled conservatives to vote against their own interests because a liberal wears an R jersey! BONUS!!!
