Twitter Bans Prominent Pro-Trump Activists as It Fights Censorship Allegations
Breitbart ^ | 27 Jul 2018 | Allum Bokhari

Posted on 07/28/2018 4:00:15 PM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

Twitter banned the account of a pro-Trump grassroots campaign with 15 state field directors along with another prominent Trump supporter, failing to reinstate the accounts on the same day that the company came under fire from the president himself for discrimination against conservatives. Eight days ago, Twitter banned the account of a pro-Trump grassroots organization called New Right US (@newrightus.) Co-founded by political activist Mike Tokes, the account represented an organization that mobilizes Trump supporters around the country.

“We have over 15 state directors and a team of social media influencers throughout the country” said Tokes. “It wasn’t just some website with no action. We were really expanding.”

Because Twitter refuses to be transparent about the reasons it suspends accounts, it did not inform the owners of @newrightus, or Breitbart News, why the account had been suspended. Tokes says the account, which accumulated approximately 10,000 followers prior to its suspension, had not engaged in any rule-violating behavior.

Tokes says Twitter initially restricted the account for seven days, but that “now it shows no option to reactivate, meaning it’s permanent.”

Welcome . But you have to turn the proxy on as it’s not on by default on my version.the proxy connects through a proxy server so they think your ip is in another country.

Been using this epic privacy browser for months to hide from Google, facebook , twitter etc. . Works great as far as i could tell. I couldn’t create an account as they had blocked me until i found it:

https://www.epicbrowser.com/

has it’s own search engine too.

Are you saying that Twitter is banning Trump followers?

You need to speak to Breitbart, etc. and show them the proof.

I am signing no just for that reason and see what happens.

If you do contact someone, let me know. We need to contact the same so they see this is twitter policy.

yes, it is censorship, it is just not a violation of 1st since the govt is not doing it.

Clandestine Censorship is not part of a free society.

yeah, it was a joke. Jim would not do that unless someone broke a rule. Besides Freepers handle trolls pretty well on their own.

Wow! You are right, sir!

We are climbing Mt Everest here. But gonna keep inching up.

Thanks for the websites. How did you find out about them?

Did you find them on other search engines?

If you did, there is the solution. Conservatives should stop using Google. Conservatives should stop funding the LEFT period

“The government says you can’t choose who you rent your property to.”

No they don’t.

I have rental property and I have never had a government official tell me who I must rent to.

Dont be concerned about Trump. He can definitely take care of himself.

And I posted #48 in reply.

In case you're unaware, in the info at the bottom of each post is a 'To__' area that will let you backtrack to the original post being referenced

I have been on Twitter for a long time, very pro Trump comments, and most I have experienced is loss of few followers. I have Trump posts automatically sent to my account...along with my House Rep, etc.

My FR profile has my Twitter address....and there is a lot of left criticism there as well. I do have one friend on Twitter, who is shadow banned..

I find mewe.com a better service, cause your info is not for sale/no ads, but not quite as quick as Twitter, and only a couple of political groups...2 million and rising members, most left Facebook. American Patriot group very active. A lot more humor on http://mewe.com MEWE doesn’t want a lot of politics except in groups set up for it.

Sad you had that experience right off the bat! I have been on Twitter for years, and wonder why I haven’t been banned, I say some outrageous stuff! lol

Blue House Sue -

“Does Breitbart control content on its platform?

If so, why does Breitbart find it objectionable that Twitter controls content on its platform?”

The difference is simple - Breitbart does not market itself as a person-person or group-group communication medium in the way that Twitter and Facebook do. Breitbart also doesn’t mine personal information in the manner that Facebook and Twitter do.

While I am very fond of the “free market” I will also admit that there are times where the so-called “free-market solution” simply will not work and those that think it will are fools - what REALISTIC alternatives are there for Twitter and Facebook? What alternatives offer the same reach?

This is an instant where Trump and the rest of the GOP need to use the power that WE THE CITIZEN ELECTORATE vested in them with our votes and take the necessary steps of regulating Facebook and Twitter using the Common-Carrier laws we levied against Ma Bell and penalize them heavily for their actions.

The alternative is to allow the eradication of conservative thought. Today’s Leftists are using the old Bolshevik/Stalinist tactics of turning their enemies (us) into un-persons before they annihilate us so we better dig our heads out of the sands and be willing to fight fire with fire.

"While I am very fond of the “free market”"

It does not appear that you are all that fond of a free market.

"... the Common-Carrier laws we levied against Ma Bell and penalize them heavily for their actions."

"Ma Bell" had a monopoly largely due to their owning of the rights to telephone infrastructures such as telephone poles and lines and that made it impossible for for you to open "jhastey Bell"

However, you are free to access the internet infrastructure and open a social media platform that competes with Twitter.

“Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.”

I picked up a team of SPOOKS via Gab. It’s taken time for me to figure it out. BOBO invited me to DISCORD. I checked it out and it seemed ok. After a bit, I realized it was not a good platform for me. That is where the spooks grabbed my signup info. I discovered that Andrew Torba and Amy of Gab are part of it. I got phone calls with “VVVV’ as the name. They are in my computer raising hell with every site I go on. They stalk me and mess with my emails, too. I have to have my puter scrubbed now and will lose most of my research for the last 2 years. The only way I can get them out is to scrub and reboot. It will be done on Friday. BEWARE! These peoplek are
not nice. Stay away. They’re worse than Jack on Twitter. I sent so many people to that site. They responded with treachery. A sh’ame.

Andrew was using a pale VV in his typing and I caught him because I have it in my phone and in my email. Andrew made a mistake by doing that. The pale VV is from his site. VVayne, a member here is one of the harrassment teams. He used pale w’s as well in his name.

I hate them with a passion. I blasted Torba and Amy and exposed what they have done right on their own site. STAY AWay FROM Gab.

I left a couple of months ago and I’m still getting followers from there! I haven’t been there in 2 months now. So sorry I recommended them to thousands of followers.

Now I warn people. Enter at your own risk. I’ll lose all my data because of them and the scrub and reboot to get rid them. It will be done at DEFCON. I will have a team on their arses and see how they like it! The Hunter will become the Hunted. Their online life will now be the same hell that they have caused me. May the rot.

Your ad-hominem attacks aside,

Yesterday is not today nor is it tomorrow - one must adapt methods to modern times. One would not march an army in 18th century European war formations onto a modern battlefield and expect to survive.

- “Ma Bell” had a monopoly largely due to their owning of the rights to telephone infrastructures such as telephone poles and lines and that made it impossible for for you to open “jhastey Bell”

According to your train of thought, free market would have allowed me to raise my own poles and lines for infrastructure according dependent on access to capital.
You assume that the core PHYSICAL internet infrastructure will always remain (or even currently is) equally accessible to all - however that isn’t where your theory falls apart.

It isn’t (just) PHYSICAL barriers currently preventing a FB/Twitter competitor from taking effective hold - there are capital (money) and technical barriers that make your “free-market solution” to this problem not only impractical but suicidal to Conservatives as a whole. That is the problem with being blindly adherent to single-thread trains of thought. That same blind following of that by the Chamber of Commerce RINOS is why Donald Trump is President and not Jeb Bush or John Kasich.

Perhaps you haven’t noticed, on both a national and international scale, FB and Twitter have taken on a reach and impact on our daily lives that far exceeds what Ma Bell could have ever dreamed of. The 2018 midterms and 2020 are critical to our survival and the survival of the Constitutional Republic that our Founding Fathers set up for us.
To do ANYTHING that allowed the Democrats to retake control of even one branch of Congress would be suicide for us. The “shadow-banning” and similar tactics used by FB/Twitter against Conservatives is just one tactic that the Democrat/Leftists are using to win those elections that would seal our fate. Ask any politician how hard it is to win an election if you can’t get your message out. If FB/Twitter had any inking in 2016 that Trump might actually win they would have used these same tactics and worse against us and we would have Hillary in the White House. If the Democrats take control of either the HoR or Senate in 2018 then we will have passed the point of no return to either extinction or a very bloody CWII - and we’re already in the “low-intensity conflict” stages of that CW as we speak.

Our Founding Fathers understood all too well that in order to maintain our liberty and Republic that from time to time unpleasant actions must be taken for the greater good - Eminent Domain is one example. Imposing Common Carrier rules on FB/Twitter is no different given their scope and ability to effect our Republic when they cease to be a neutral platform.

“You and I have the courage to say to our enemies, “There is a price we will not pay.” There is a point beyond which they must not advance.....You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on Earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.” - Ronald Reagan
