It is open season on Trump supporters, and the media is only fomenting, encouraging, excusing, and hoping for more

Sulzberger (and his New York Times) should eat his words for complaining about Trump's tirade against the main stream media as possibly causing some violence against reporters (which of course has not happened). Instead, Sulzberger and the New York Times should report the real news that the main stream media's relentless Trump bashing has in fact stirred up over 500 acts of violence against Trump supporters.
A serious question, please. If an individual, driven to distraction and uncontrollable rage by never ending and ever worsening vitriol aimed at President Trump, is finally diven to act out his fury, is the entity that drove and incited the act of violence LEGALLY culpable and responsible?
One of these days they are going to pick on the wrong person.........

If there is evidence that the perp’s violence is a direct result of incitements fostered or promoted by
a source, then, yes, the source is liable.
Thank you for this post.
This is what Maxine Watters calls “social warfare.” Folks, we are in a war, whether we are willing to admit it or not. The Dems/Progressives have declared war on us. We need to fight back, especially at the ballot box. This is a war for the soul of our country.

Thank you a whole bunch for the reply.
Now, THAT is what I would certainly call JUSTICE.
anyone else?????
Wait a second!!! The story concerned the N.Y.Times. But this culpability couldn/would/should include the ENTIRE alphabet of the Fake Media.
Imagine the $$$$$ of any settlements there. Also JUSTICE!!
Wonder what would happen if a group of angry Trump supporters were to follow that ugly hag around and verbally abuse her everywhere she goes?
Better yet, someone get behind her and yank off that ugly wig.
The stage is being set by the media and dem politicians to normalize violent acts against Trump supporters. Expect this to intensify and escalate in the coming months, to include false flag operations conducted on their own kind to gain public sympathy and support.
As a criminal matter, the prosecutor having proper jurisdiction over the matter would have to prove in court that the individual who committed a violate act did so because they relied on media hatred as truth that only violence would actually remove Trump from power. However, as a civil matter, less proof would be required to justify a lawsuit and judgment against a violent person or persons, regardless of the basis for their violence.
