Swedish Crown Jewels Stolen By Thieves Who Got Away on a Motorboat

Priceless Swedish crown jewels were stolen from the Strängnäs Cathedral in Sweden, the Swedish Police Authority said Tuesday.
The thieves took two crowns and royal orb from the cathedral, which is located west of Stockholm, and took off in a motor boat that was moored just below the church. Police immediately pursued the suspects by boat and helicopters.

Probably an organized crime job. Clearly this was a meticulously planned operation. This is not the kind of stuff you snatch and pawn. It was probably grabbed for a private collector. I hope I am wrong but my guess is that the royal bling is not even in the country anymore. Educated guess... the loot is, or soon will be in a secret vault owned by some Russian Mafia boss at his country dacha.
