Schneiderman was named by Obama in his 2012 SOTU address to lead a mortgage abuse unit to investigate and redress the perceived wrongs committed by Wall Street in connection with the sub-prime mortgage crisis, Schneiderman filed suit alleging that several major banks and a mortgage registration service engaged in fraudulent foreclosures. Billions in settlements were handed over by Obama to leftist groups like La Raza and Acorn. Can Schneiderman account for all the money he collected?

Many State politicians have ignored the elephant in the room :
#1) The 4 female complaints became public immediately before the State Democratic primary, although no criminal charges have yet been filed.
#2) State decisions made by: "The three men in a room":
The previous Democratic House Leader, Silverman, had been convicted of corruption, though now out on bail and appeal.
The previous Republican Senate Leader, Dean Skelos, had been found guilty of corruption, though currently out on bail and appeal.
The "Third man in the room" is Governor Cuomo !
#3) Schneiderman is one of the few Democratic operative politicians who have Statewide name recognition,
as well as he was building a campaign war chest.

I believe that Schneiderman's 'outing' is a result of political chess by Gov. Cuomo, to eliminate any challenge to Cuomo's landslide re-election.
All other challengers to Cuomo's re-election are 'fringe candidates', and of little significant importance.
