Like a backward, corrupt, 3rd world hell hole, crime ridden Illinois set aside a day to honor Barack Obama.
The State of Illinois is effectively bankrupt. Chicago is a violent, crime ridden cesspool of corruption.
63 people were shot last weekend while Chicago was celebrating Obama. Ten ended up dead.

Obama himself couldn’t make it back “home” for the fesivities? LOL! I’m sure most Illinoisans didn’t observe the day either. No barbeques, parades, fireworks, matress sales, etc.
This looks like another empty gesture like the naming a stretch of I-55 the Barack Obama Highway. I saw the green-and-white sign marking its starting point at northbound milemarker 202 in the middle of a cornfield. Otherwise, no big deal. Blink, light up a smoke, or take a sip of your coffee, and you would miss it.
