One thing you do NOT want to do, in any courtroom, is to aggravate the judge with shenanigans that would be laughed at in law school moot courts.

This is hugh, and it is series.

So is the headline “ judge brings prosecutor to tears” from the transcript? NO. The judge said it was so, the prosecutor denied it. So the headline was false. Another typical gateway pundit headline designed to get gullible readers to click on the story thus increasing ad revenue.

From Wikipedia:

“Over time, The Gateway Pundit expanded from a one-person enterprise into a multi-employee operation that is supported primarily by advertising revenue.

The website is known for publishing falsehoods and spreading hoaxes.[15][16][6][17]

The Gateway Pundit is known as a source of viral falsehoods and hoaxes.[15][16][6] As a result of a number of lawsuits against Gateway Pundit over its false stories, it was reported in March 2018 that Jim Hoft had told his writers to be more careful, saying “I don’t want any more lawsuits so we have to be really careful with what we put up.”[20]

Following the 2016 mass shooting at the gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, Hoft came out as gay”

Judge Ellis should throw the bastard into the cell next to Manafort’s for 23 hour a day solitary confinement, indefinitely, and without being convicted of anything. He could have a good cry, then contemplate his cruelty and injustice to others.

The way I see it and hope the jury does too is that Mueller’s team tells Gates they have him on charges that could carry a 100 year prison term. Then, they tell Gates that if he cooperates they can can reduce that to probation on a single charge of lying to the FBI.

To me, that is bribe under color of law. I hope the jury sees it that way and acquits Manafort and I’m no fan of Paul Manafort.

I have a feeling the judge doesn’t like the deal Gates is getting and that’s why he has been tough on the prosecution.

I never said the headline was in the transcript. I said the exchange was in the transcript.

Of course the prosecutor is going to deny crying in open court. But the judge would not make up something like that out of the blue.

The prosecutor was crying in court.

Yeah, sooner or later, people are going to figure it out—Mueller is a crappy lawyer. He’d have trouble taking even a real case to trial.

Pure pettifoggery.
