Here it comes...the standard rampage about how bad Cruz is, Lyin’ Ted, Candadian Ted, all of it. No mention of Ted Cruz can be tolerated without the usual suspects flaming him for the unpardonable sin of having run against Donald Trump in the primaries.
I hope the conservative circular firing squad has stopped shooting, and that Trump helps Cruz.

There, I said it, maybe I’m the first one of the circular firing squad to trash Cruz. I’m being sarcastic because I agree with previous posters, the real circular firing squad will soon appear.
We need unity. Cruz is not a bad person. Compared to real swampsters like McCain, Cruz really stands out as a good guy.
That would be a good thing.

IMHO, when it comes to this kind of thing, we need to be just like the RATs and support our guy no matter how bad. That’s what they do, and we need to the same in this case. Sure, he has made some mistakes, faults, but who to heck hasn’t. And he’s waaaaaay better than having a stinking commie RAT in Texas.
Good for Ted. I know President Trump will be glad to campaign for him.
Well, I guess if President Trump can endorse Dean Heller, he might endorse Cruz.

After the Texas senator got caught on tape criticizing Trump’s “judgment” at a private fund-raiser, the divisive billionaire took aim at the man he said weeks ago could be his vice presidential pick. Cruz is trying to downplay the slight, but Trump is already snarling.

I don’t like Cruz but we need him in the Senate and Trump should absolutely do everything he can to help him be reelected. Living as I do in Illinois, I would crawl over a mile of broken glass to vote for Cruz if he were running in this state.
To some the perfect is always the enemy of the good, and personal likes/dislikes really are irrelevant. I once hired a real estate agent who I thought was a total ass because he claimed he was going to get me more for my property than anyone else could. We should vote for those who will get the kind of results we want in government.
Love him or hate him we need every Senate seat we can get. The left is throwing everything they have at Ted. Trump would be wise to support him ( and so should we)
Trump knows this is the closest to a friend that he’ll get in Washington. We desperately need every seat in the Senate and if Beto wins it will be a harbinger of terrible results nationally.
By all rights Trump could invite Cruz on board AF-1 and watch him eat crow served on Presidential china. But it ain’t gonna happen.
Of course Trump will help him but I hope he backhands him first with “What the hell is going on down there Ted, you’re in Texas for gods sake how can you be in trouble? Of course I’ll help you win.” Then never let the underhanded weasel forget it after he does win.
