It would appear we are talking ‘past’ each other with neither understanding what it is the other really means. You don’t appear to understand what I said either.
Given the information we have; I believe the cops did the right thing. We can disagree but that is my position.

If you gotta hate cops, have at it, but don't blame them for the ills of society and then vote for more societal ills w/o consequences.
Any cop who can’t control an 11 year old without tasing her probably is in the wrong profession.
You should reach out, see if you can’t take her into your home.

This ‘sweet’ little 11-year-old had a backpack full of stolen items from the Kroger’s. She was with other girls stealing from the store. When asked to stop, she ignored the officer and moved away from him. After many demands to stop, she continued to ignore the officer. That’s when he hit her with the Taser.

If you’re a cop and can’t restrain a 11yr old girl without a taser then you shouldn’t be a cop

She is black and a kid and therefore immune from law enforcement.
Tasering was the correct prcedure to stop her blatant disregard of all law and order.
· several girls were report by employees to appear to be shop lifting....and we all know that pre-teen girls do all of moms shopping.

So a gang of feral females hits the Kroger much the same way teen flash mobs hit 7-11’s and other convenience stores.
People seem to be making comments based on reporting in other articles or are reading 'between the lines'.

Shoplifters get off all the time at big box stores, mostly due to staffing issues and security rules.
So the perps learn to play that. Store product ‘shrinkage’ is terrible these days. But, hey, it’s OK. We all pay for it through higher prices. And those perps will move on to worse activities, where someone WILL get hurt.
There is a certain group of people that MUST BE TAUGHT to run from the police.
Watching LIVE PD, COPS is a real education in societal behavior.
So many of this group, run from police (committing a felony) for a possible misdemeanor offence. Most common explanation is “I was scared”.
This so STUPID that it defies logic, so I can only conclude that it must be TAUGHT.

CPD confirms via their twitter she was just walking away, not fighting and not threatening anyone. She was shocked with thousands of volts until falling. In the back by a cop that was too lazy to grab the child

Not true. Most of the kids I grew up with who shoplifted never commited another crime and had no intent for violence. It’s just something bad little kids do for a rush and they need discipline. Not some kilovolts in the back

I was shopping at Walmart yesterday. While shopping, an employee engaged me in conversation. After a little “small conversation” he told me (they must have just had an employee meeting) that they were talking about closing our Walmart because of theft! Even though our Super Walmart does a tremendos business, too much profit walks right out the door.
I asked, why don’t you catch and arrest them? He said they can’t.
I have seen on LIVE PD etc. that they can’t arrest you until you leave the store. Some stores choose to stop them inside the store, expose the theft, call police, then permanently “ban” them from the premises.
Shoplifting and the difficulty of stopping and prosecuting it, will be the death of shopping as we know it. This is why Amazon and Walmart stores are transitioning to purchasing online then coming to the store for pick up. Turning the store into essentially a warehouse.
No shoplifting, no cashiers, fewer employees, better bottom line.
The reason behind this?
The removal of GOD from schools and society. MORALS prevented shoplifting (STEALING!) “Thou shalt not steal”.
With the removal of biblical morals from society, society is devolving into anarchy. Without revival, this will continue.
