OK, North Korea, end the nukes
Good, it should be officially ended.
This is huge folks. It’s the Holy Grail of foreign policy accomplishments.
As I remember, Rocket Man unilaterally abrogated the Armistice agreement a couple of times and declared that N. Korea was again in a state of war with the U.S.

Don’t you remember how many times when Democrats held the White House this was even on the table? Yeah, I can’t think of a time either. About time that Obama stop occupying Trump’s Nobel Peace Prize.
The return of all remains of US and their allies is priority number one. Also, return the USS Pueblo. Lets settle one war/conflict at a time. Then work out the nuclear/delivery system issues.
I cannot say just how happy I am to have a President determined to remember, respect and appreciate our courageous young heroes who travelled half the world to fight for freedom.
God bless you Mr President, for the sincere and respectful approach you have taken in this difficult issue.
Let those young men sleep in Christ’s arms assured in the knowledge no future generation of their countrymen will ever need to undertake such a trial

Wasn’t the Korean War a UN action of which the US was only a player? *big player.
We want to definitely do this as part of the negotiations but it can’t happen yet. It’s putting the cart before the horse. If we did this, then the next calls would be for us to remove our troops from South Korea. IMO, when we have certified that their nuclear program no longer exists, then and only then do we work on a peace treaty to end the war.
Once they clearly give up and destroy or turn over their nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons, sure. Sooner the better.

oh, we don’t think so. If the war is declared over, then Korea takes full advantage of the open thaw and does what they please, backed by an emotionally weak soko, as well as more open relations with Russia, China and Iran, leaving no reason whatsoever to continue talks with the US, and, in fact, escalating the risk to the US of continued aggressive behavior.
This is an extremely reasonable ask. End the war. Period, then dismantle.
This is not unreasonable. Also has a nice, mid-term feel to it, “I ended the Korean War.”
