Exactly! There’s are similar sayings about wrestling a pig and playing chess with a pidgeon.
What Shapiro is doing is what her college professors should have done. THEY should have challenged her to defend her beliefs, and if she couldn't adequately respond, they should have given her a failing grade. They must share responsibility for her self public humiliation.
Her college professors encouraged non debate, they teach crappy thinking, that is why a server with a degree thinks they should be in congress. She was helped by her opponent who thought he could “call in” his campaign by sitting in a chair, and not showing up at debates or rallies. This should be an opportunity, but anyone with a “D” next to their name will win, even if the vote is split between the server and the ex incumbant.
