And out of the blue some guy named Peter Thiel was invoked. What does Peter Thiel have to do with the price of beans in China?
This lady is full bull goose loony.

I think we should get together and buy a large boat for all these nutcases to get on and sail away. Just have to convince them this is the only way they can survive. Shouldn’t be too hard with the IQ level they exhibit.

It was me. I'm your global warming culprit.
Some years back, I accidentally left my garage door open in the middle of winter with the heater on during a two week vacation. Unfortunately I appear to have raised the earth's temperature by .1 degrees.
Sorry about that.

Thanks for this! Why does no Guardian writer ever remember this little fib? Here's another one.

I think we should get together and buy a large boat for all these nutcases to get on and sail away. Rosie O'Donuts spotted sounding as she makes her way to Canada across Lake Huron to escape President Trump and US Global Warming.

But is his face red?? I don’t think so.

She’s going to feel pretty stupid (or maybe frozen) if the possible new ice age materializes. There is a better chance of that happening than there is warming. These people are unhinged.

I’m wondering.....say Canada, could we maybe work a trade? You get the Northeast and the Left Coast. Heck, we’ll even throw in Chicago. We get your West minus Vancouver which we will graciously allow you to hang onto.
Deal?

I'm not sure Emma is serious, but she probably is.
Emma, don't be the last on your block to buy property on the Arctic Ocean. In the next few weeks it will become glorious beach front property where you can sun bathe.
Heck, you can even sell yours for enough profit so you can afford to build that archipelago.

But, but but...it was on the “deadline list”! /s
Seriously, though: I read a piece a week or two ago that was listing climate as one of the dem’s hot topics of engagement for their constituency (mid-terms) and she hit all the right points.
Ignorant saps.

No one had any answers. One friend averred that, shabby as this line of thinking is, one had to assume that when climate change posed an imminent threat to national security, the entire US defence budget would be ploughed into technology to reverse it, and we would be saved in the nick of time. Emma so blissfully parades her hideous ignorance; it's as if she were streaking it.
