The FBI has fired Peter Strzok over ant-Trump text messages he exchanged with his lover during the 2016 presidential campaign, Strzok's lawyer confirmed Monday.

Perhaps the FBI had already been given a heads up about what is coming? That might be why the timing is NOW?

laplata, where did you hear they got their pensions? Of course, the NYT could be lying, but before my blood pressure spikes AGAIN...where did you hear it?
McCabe didn’t get his pension either.
McCabe got a "reduced" pension. you may be confused because the fake news, wanting to feel sorry for scofflaw McCabe and garner sympathy, misreported that he would "lose" his pension. He only lost some of it. Once again, the fake news misreporting confuses matters.

I doubt they can prosecute him for being biased - but if they are firing him for it, that means they believe significant bias existed and affected his decisions. If it affected his decisions, then Mueller’s witch hunt has just been completely discredited - the fruit of a poisonous tree. The same is true of the premature closing of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s wrongdoing - that decision will have to be reconsidered as well.
It is long overdue, but this is a score for the good guys, and it is a good indication that the wheels are turning in Trump’s FBI and turning in the right direction.

I think they fired him now ahead of 2nd IG report release and likely Huber indictments looming.
(Hopefully they canned him right before guaranteed pension/benefits kick in..)
I did read the entire thread (obviously not until after my initial approach, didn’t mean to pile on after you had already been asked...)
jjotto was commenting and appears to know something of this with no specifics, and henkster provided a nice link at #109, but without knowing the specifics of him and his firing or his case, I just don’t know.
Perhaps you are correct, the “Paper of Record” (known to us as “The Old Grey Whore”) may have put that in there to simply throw off Strzok’s pursuers.
May there be an indictment in his future. Perjury would work. Abuse of office would work. Nah, a seditious conspiracy would work much better.
His texts/his own words are evidence of his involvement in a seditious conspiracy.
Too late, but the right thing to do. Now let’s take the next step.
Would think that they could get them on fraud if he claimed any overtime while spending all his regular work hours sending and receiving texts.
