Actually I can see the local FBI office “dithering” about what to do. All through the 8 years of Zero they probably got policy memo after policy memo instructing them to be “understanding” in regard to Muslims. (Meaning do nothing unless they’re slitting your throat. Then the solution is apologize before they finish for getting their knife dirty!).
In government, policy no matter how wrong headed and stupid is set by Memo A and will only be unset by Memo B. You are expected to follow it, until Memo B changes things. (Note its government, no thinking is required! Think of it as a very simple machine!) Trump should have policy memos in hand and sent out on day one! Not being a guvie, he probably didn’t realize how machine-like the government actually is!
All government bureaucrats live in great fear of any EEO action by HR on behalf of any minority, no matter how trivial the reason. It’s a career killer.
Note this does not apply to white people, particularly southern white males. Those you can abuse all you want. There will be no armies of civil rights attorneys running to help them and terminate your career.

Is a county judge in NM subject to retention elections? If they retain her, then the “good” people of Taos County deserve everything that is coming to them. I wonder if the parents can grasp that their school system might have been the dress rehearsal target.

1. This has to be one of the biggest cases of Bovine Scatology I’ve ever seen.
2. The judge in the case MUST be removed as a judge and arrested for aiding and abetting terrorism and also felony child abuse and murder.
3. Every single one of us MUST start telling these idiots to stop political correctness and keep on protesting the people that use it until they are removed from office or stop seeing or hearing them.
That is the only way to end this idiotic stupidity.

I gotta whisper “bad person”. It’s not funny that these Muslim terrorists are on the loose, and that we have yet another high-profile example of a judiciary showing more deference to Muslims and Islam than to America.
Scotching Trump’s Entry Ban was bad enough. That was simply lawlessless. But you could at least make the argument that that was not provably enabling specific, named terrorists. This is a get out of jail free card for somebody who is a clear danger to our country.
Education today isn’t what it used to be. Today, it is indoctrination and no, it doesn’t require rational thought. Until judges like this are either impeached or voted out (depending on what type of judge), they will continue to dispense their “justice” based, not on the law or Constitution, but on their personal political ideology. And, that is not the way our justice system is supposed to work.
Yes, this is Taos, where even the judges don’t think they have the right to judge anyone. :D

I'm starting to seriously think that mails and emails and protests are now not only counter-productive but dangerous to one's liberty. The rot is so pervasive and the ideology is so entrenched that such polite methods will have no effect, but will effectively put you first on the list of suspects when those who are not officially responsible for keeping us safe have taken matters into their hands.

Hard to comprehend how this judge could REALLY buy the argument that a group of whites would not have been arrested under the same circumstances. 11 starving kids and a dead kidnapped 3-year-old? David and Louise Turpin were arrested immediately after ONE phone call and were denied bail, without a dead kidnapped 3-year-old.

That is an interesting question. Since they are being placed on “house arrest”.... isn’t the judge basically sending them back to the compound to legally squat? I wonder if the address of house arrest is public information... It wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
