I would say someone who is delusional about his sex could be delusional about other things as well.

According to the Article: BEFORE he made the transition, he had his testicles removed to deal with a certain kind of cancer that thrives with testosterone. i’ve forgotten the name of the particular cancer, but it loves testosterone.
You are of course correct in pointing out that sexual orientation and gender identification are two separate matters. Neither one define the PERSON. i was calling out the person i was responding to on that very point.
My objections to the candidate are due to his naive ignorance of the issues that one must deal with day to day as governor of a state. Hallquist should know (as an EE) that any power besides nuclear of fossil fuels is an inadequate non-starter and therefore the premise of his whole campaign is based on either an error or a lie.
Incidentally, i was referring to another poster’s assertion about Hallquist being a Sodomite, ever thought there is no evidence to that affect, as it appears that he’s still married to his wife.

I remember an Oprah episode of this topic during the 80’s (I know, I know but I was a teenager and actually enjoyed Oprah).
The husband suddenly decided that he was a woman and, for some reason, wanted to stay with his wife. Naturally, his wife disagreed with that idea and wanted a divorce.
Oprah and her zombie audience were completely sympathetic to the husband and attempted to shame the wife for not being supportive or understanding of her husband’s pain. The general consensus was that the wife should remain married to the freak and and be proud of his “bravery”.
In their opinion, the wife and kids’ feelings didn’t matter, they weren’t important. It was all about the freak and his “feelings”. The wife was scolded and judged because she nor the kids were jumping for joy.
I finally had to switch channels because I was so furious about how unfair everyone was being to the wife and kids. It was as if THEY were breaking up the family, not the so-called husband and father.
And this was decades ago; I can only imagine how unfairly the families of these freaks are treated today.
Infuriating.

I have objections to a lot of things that have nothing to do with fossil fuels. Possibly I am the fossil. So be it.
They try to normalize such as this sick person and ignore that anyone who actually feels they are in the wrong body necessarily has mental and emotional problems dealing with the dichotomy of reality and what they think reality should be.
