Erdogan double-crossed Trump, and that's just not a good idea. Now Erdogan will have to order the release, or start having someone else start his car in the morning, because Turkey's economy was barely above water after Syria fell apart and Iran had already backstabbed him. His removal is a while off, but that's good, no one will lift a finger to try to save him.

That was actually the Ruskies.
Our Hostages were released the moment Reagan raised his Right Hand to take the Oath of Office, so he didn’t have the power to collect Iranian digits before that moment.
Iran knew that unlike Carter, POTUS Reagan would wipe them out if they didn’t release the Hostages.
The Liberal Media cover story was Iran released the Hostages to make POTUS Carter look bad, so I guess that means Iran colluded with Reagan, right? LOL

Erdogan already had a grudge against the U.S. So, this is just another grudge.
There is another story from the Russians after the fall of the Soviet Union. When Reagan fired the 11, 000 air traffic controllers, word spread among the Soviet hierarchy that you don’t f__ with Ronald Reagan. this situation with Iran will go a long ways towards his foreign policy goals. :-)
