Cardinal Burke: ‘Very Grave Problem of Homosexual Culture in the Church
Breitbart ^ | Nolte

Posted on 08/17/2018 8:40:24 AM PDT by wardaddy

Cardinal Raymond Burke has called for “open recognition” of the Catholic church’s homosexual culture in light of recent revelations of sexual abuse. “I believe that there needs to be an open recognition that we have a very grave problem of a homosexual culture in the Church,” Burke said in an interview Thursday, “especially among the clergy and the hierarchy, that needs to be addressed honestly and efficaciously.”

he former head of the church’s equivalent of the Supreme Court said it was already “clear after the studies following the 2002 sexual abuse crisis that most of the acts of abuse were in fact homosexual acts committed with adolescent young men.”

“There was a studied attempt to either overlook or to deny this,” he said, referring to the mainstream media cover-up of the homosexual nature of the abuse as well as such denial within the church itself.

“but also, crimes should be pursed in the court of law, not civil court...“

Why not in Civil Courts? The Catholic Church engaged in a long running conspiracy to hush things up and serious damaged thousands of children. It should be sued out of existence. Any other entity would be.

Why should they be spared?

It isn’t so THOSE pervs will get married, it’s so young, religious men will not have to make a choice between marriage and the priesthood so that more normally sexed men will want to do it.

2-300 years from now historians will look back on all this and refer to it as the great Sodomite heresy.

I will not got in to a dissertation of Babylonian priests as there are folks that do way better than me laying it out. They followed the worldwide wins throughout history, For instance, Egypt, to Assyria, to Persia, to Greece to Rome and that’s where they are to this day, so far. I assume they’ll head off to Jerusalem soon. There are a couple interesting books that follow this exodus of the priests but I’d rather email if interested. I’m not up for a debate today.

I pray God’s justice be done. And I am not a Pope Francis fan... The Catholic Church has weathered through far worse. It’s the truly faithful who define it, not merely its fallen leadership.

And who defines the truly faithful? RCs are not to be as evangelicals who ascertain the validity of church teaching, as well as who is faithful, based on their judgment, but they are to look to leadership to do so.

And when liberal proabortion, prohomosexual souls are manifestly considered members in life and in death, then that defines what canon law means. As when a Ted Kennedy is given a church funeral.

Hi Daniel,

I so admire your namesake (the prophet Daniel in the lion’s den!) And your urgent pursuit of the truth in all instances...but we likely will not see eye to eye on this issue. From childhood onward, I have been shepherded by both Catholics and Evangelicals towards the Gospel, to the salvation found only in Christ...And continue to be fed the meat of faith in both contexts. I praise God I have been spared abuse in either context.

I knew about it in the ‘80’s, so did the church.<<

Cardinal Burke was one of the first Orthodox cardinals to be fired by Bergoglio. His old office is now in the hands of a liberal.

Noted. And just who is going to administer justice in this earthly sphere? Who, eh? What perpertator is actually going to confess to The Father, let alone to men, truly repent, resign from the (unbiblical) clergy, serve out an appropriate sentence separating one from normal society, eh what?<<p?
I think one can guess.

Thank God if you found Christ, but as a former practicing RC who became born again while still one, i can attest that the meat of Rome is far too tainted, and is the most manifest deformation of what the NT believed.

’ He actually had the nerve to start his own church less than half a mile from our parish. He is an absolute disgrace.’

The Church of Perpetual Perversity? How many members of the parish followed Fr. Twisted in his satanic enterprise?

‘Very Grave Problem of Homosexual Culture in the Church

The PROBLEM is the seeming inability to adequately deal with sin at the higher levels in the Church.

Canon law deals with the problem just fine.

And our own Immigration laws deal with people invading our country; too.

The 'problem' is that the laws HAVE to be enforced. Failing to do so makes the unwashed masses think that there IS no law.

As long as “Pope” Frankie is there the poofters will continue to corrupt the Church from within.

Pay attention!

The gays FAGS in the church have been there a LOT longer than the current pope.

What has convinced you that a change of pope will do anything?

Rome needs another LUTHER to nail the offenses to the Church's door!
