Replace the access contract/revenue stream with a warrant. Money flow cuts off, information flow does not. The social media warriors won’t be able to complain too loudly or they will be advertising to the public how much they profited from voluntarily giving away their users’ privacy.

In fact, the end result of socialism in a political sense is nearly identical to monarchy.
However, in a monarchy, in most cases, the economy can still thrive. Taxation may be quite capricious but generally you are much better off with monarchy than with socialism.

I can’t decide if this is worrying or not. Democrat leaders don’t really stand for anything except power, and certainly lining their own pockets. Latching onto socialist political *might* be more of a tactic in furtherance of their long term strategy — total political domination. I don’t doubt that the bulk of their registered voters are true believers, and therein lies the danger for them, I suppose.

I think we can stop analyzing right here with this thought and end our discussion right here . Can anybody else say this simpler? Maybe add without exaggerating, they want the opposition dead? which is the #1 reason socialists must never be allowed to win. Because its life and death for capitalists.
Every piece of technology requires approval by the government for patients, copyrights, etc. Every piece of code is also submitted to the government for approval. Nothing can be private from the Govt, but the Govt can allow it to be commercially and for private use. I was taught this during one session of training on long haul communications, along with the fact that all the major IT folks from TelComs come for training and coordination.

I think Ocasio and the unmasked socialists will see their momentum fizzle. Even if Ocasio gets a seat, she will be a back bencher with no sigificant committee assignments.
I believe ultimately they will go their separate ways. It is the irrational choice so the most probable.
They dont just want socialism, they want it now.
