ABC News reported that Trump told U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell to make Palijs deportation his No. 1 priority when he got to Berlin, which had to agree to take the deportee.
But nothing escapes politicization in these polarized times, and Mondays announcement was no exception. Critics of Immigration and Customs Enforcement pointed out that the announcement arrived only hours after a special ceremony at the White House honoring the agency. These critics said the timing was intended to deflect the intense scrutiny of the agencys aggressive tactics in removing undocumented immigrants, regardless of their criminal records. Some Democrats have called for abolishing ICE and refocusing immigration enforcement efforts on undocumented immigrants who come to the attention of law enforcement.
My father denaturalized and deported Nazis for a living and he didnt need a xenophobic goon squad to do it, tweeted BuzzFeed reporter Joe Bernstein, whose father, Mike, served as assistant deputy director of the Office of Special Investigations, the Justice Departments Nazi-hunting unit. The men and women of OSI would be disgusted by using deportations as a political stunt.
Palijs deportation was ordered in 2004, the hold-up had to do with him being stateless, and past admins removed dozens of original Nazis, all of whom are now very old or dead, journalist Jonathan M. Katz tweeted.
[I]t is not hard to see a malign political motive in the White Houses press campaign surrounding the deportation, Josh Marshall of the left-wing Talking Points Memo wrote.
Republicans seized on the Palij announcement, meanwhile, to defend the agency and the president.

Im ambivalent
VERY strange deportation priorities in America. 10s of millions of illegals, violent gang members, terrorists, etc. wreaking havoc throughout America, and THIS is top priority?
Maybe there is still a 95 year old, former part-time toilet cleaner Nazi tottering around that we can vent our national vindictiveness towards. Gimme a break already.
How much time and money was spent deporting this guy, which could have been spent getting rid of illegals?
Top priority for the ambassador to Germany.
“Vindictiveness”? 6,000 men, women and children murdered by firing squad while he guarded the gate to keep them from escaping. For his punishment, he got to live the life of Riley in the US for more than half a century.
Hasn’t he suffered enough?/s
He was an illegal, and a criminal illegal at that. MS-13 are amateurs compared to this guy. 6,000 murdered, gold teeth extracted. He guarded the gate.
He was de-naturalized in 1994, and was only kept in the country because he had nowhere else that would take him. If the Clinton Administration regarded him as a criminal, he really was a criminal.
So the ambassador to Germany persuaded Germany to take him. Finally. Good riddance.

Germany wants him back because the Islamists there need a teacher....
Ain't that the truth!
How do you get the liberals to love a Nazi? If he is a criminal deserving of denaturalization and deportation they will cry a river for him.
Do you regard him as a greater present danger than ISIS members?
Now that we’re done with deporting Nazis, let’s get down to business and start getting rid of our other undesirables.
So the Block ICE idiots are upset
New rules. I dont care
Both Bush and Obozo fucked their duty. His order of deportation was signed in 2004
He should have kept a low profile if he wanted to stay hidden and not went to these meetings,

Bagster
Actually, I do.
A flood of illegal trafficking coming through the border? Probably not.
But ISIS? I dont think there is much left of them to get worked up about.
“undocumented immigrants” ARE criminals - their crime is that they have broken our immigration laws
When someone robs a bank they are not “undocumented bank clients”
I am so sick of this crap.
Do you regard him as a greater present danger than ISIS members?
No, but thats beside the point. A valid Order Of Deportation was in force. Our stalwart ally, Germany, refused to take him. There are thousands of people from other countries in the same situation.
So after 14 years our State Department finally pulled out a hammer and got Germany to take their murdering Nazi scum ball back.
Now we need to do the same thing with every other nation on the planet. Take your criminal scum back or else.
Im fine with that.
L
He broke American immigration law, too. He entered the country under false pretenses, which is illegal. He participated in genocide and failed to disclose it on entering the country, which is illegal. And he also participated in mass murder, which is beyond illegal.
Recently, an illegal immigrant was stopped by ICE while driving his wife to the hospital to have a baby. The LSM had the usual conniption fit about it. He was wanted for a murder he allegedly committed in Mexico, and was deported to face the charges.
This low-life helped commit 6,000 murders in Poland. If Germany, with him in custody, wants to extradite him to Poland to face charges, all power to them. It is not the Unite States’ business to prosecute him, just to deport him. This has been done, and all power to Trump, Ice, and the US mission to Germany for finally meting out a modicum of justice against said low-life.
A psycho, anti-Trump Jew howls in pain at the idea of DJT deporting a Nazi. We're in quite the fix...
