OOF!!!!! That makes it hard to breathe when they do that. LOL! Ellie likes to start out on my chest and tummy, too, and she only weighs about 8 pounds. I give her a minute or so then move her off to the side.

Were you and Gizmo fortunate enough to have the lake to yourselves again? I hope the day was as pretty as it was here.

I don’t take pain meds...I’m too old to do that. I take aspirin and sometimes heavy duty ibuprophen. I see no pain lessening but know it’s good for inflammation and hope it’ll help shorten the “do nothing” phase!

Today is the best day I’ve had in 3 weeks and I thanked God for it over and over!

I don’t take pain meds because I want nothing to do with the stuff they put out today. I thank my lucky stars that I can cope just fine without something like that. Have a bad day, I just do less. Good days, more can be accomplished.
I do take it easy on Fridays so I’m good to go for working at the military museum on Saturdays. Don’t want to miss out on that! LOL

Great that you had such a good day today. I hope tomorrow’s as good, if not better.

I’m trying to get to the same as you are doing...editing, editing, editing. I would love to move into a smaller place, but a suspect at least a year of what do sibling want, what do grandkids want. And my folks have a TON of genealogy research. What to do with all of it.

If there is space for unneeded clothes, bedding, shoes, paperwork, the tendency is to delay my editing...
Editing and organizing my walk in closet has made my life easier!
I almost emptied one closet...Still have unneeded bedding in shelves.
I have miles to go to do a thorough job. I hope, when I can’t do it myself, to make it a bit easier for my family.

The weather’s been nice here. It’s supposed to get a little warmer this weekend though. Thinking about the folks in Hawaii as they’re dealing with Hurricane Lane.

This time last year Hurricane Harvey was causing so much damage, flooding and heartache.
It doesn’t look good for Hawaii.

The temps are supposed to crank up here this weekend, too, and stay toasty through next week. Ugh

My thoughts are with the folks in HI too. I followed a guy on Youtube who lives in Lelani Estates and kept up with all the mess with lava via him. Been keeping up a bit with how the hurricane is affecting that area via him and am watching one of his video updates from his front yard as I type. He had some wild video of flooding around Hilo earlier today and it’s gotten worse since then. The storm is moving at a snail pace so it’s going to be rough on all areas affected. :-(

I tried to stay up, but had to get up at 5.

Yesterday was really nice weather and I did a 4 mile walk.
Next week, gotta try to get to the pool a couple of days before it closes.

Going to be running off early this morning to visit parents, so I won’t be here (again) when you get back.
