LOL! I can sympathize with the complaining back. Mine’s grouchy tonight, too, for the same reason.
Kittehs LOVE to “help” with housework. Be glad you have just the one! The vacuum does work wonders for clearing the room, though, doesn’t it? heh!

Good luck with getting your kitties shots...Momma needs spaying. Before she moved, my daughter had feral cats have kittens on her garage and some that were abandoned newborns in the mulch pile.
Stray cat had kittens in her attic once...getting there by the open garage door.She found a vet who gave discounts and had as many cats fixed as she could catch!
I have 3 of her rescues...She kept the kittens from the mulch pile. The three still living must be 14 years old.
We already had mama spayed. We were afraid she’d be pregnant again right away. I need to find out which of these brats are girls and have them done, too. The boys are on their own. LOL!
Sounds like those kitties of your daughter’s turned out to be awesome furbabies!
I have a water pistol that shoots pretty far. It’s used when one of the cats is doing something they shouldn’t be doing. The trick is to NOT let them see you squirt them so they don’t know where the water’s coming from. They just know they get wet when they do it and stop doing it ..... for the most part. LOL!
I am finally getting some thigs done, organized in the house ...in between back tantrums...The back hates for me to accomplish.
I finally have a house cleaning lady come every two weeks to do floors, bathrooms and it has inspired me to clean out, edit and beautify!
Boys are cheaper to fix! Maybe you can get a group discount..LOL
You are so wise to get mom spayed. The vet said the cat who abandoned the days old kittens was probably in heat already!
I was there for that adventure...and feeding 5 kittens every two hours at first...My daughter and I got to sleep more on weekends when my SIL came home from his frequent business trips. All kittens survived.
If he’s doing something wrong, and he knows better, I don’t hide.

He still loves me and sleeps with me!

Mmmmmm, it would be nice to have someone to do the floors here, and vacuum too! Neither is easy on a bum back. But with all these kittehs, and a hubby tracking stuff in from around the farm, there’s no way to set up a cleaning schedule. They’re done as needed and I just deal with the back tantrums. You’re so lucky to be able to schedule some help.

They all KNOW better. These guys get dealt with plenty but if I can squirt them and make them stop, it saves getting up from the chair. LOL! If I’m already up, all bets are off.
Up to 14 pounds already, is he? He IS a big feller! I hope he snuggles next to you and doesn’t want to sleep on your chest and tummy. Oof!
I can’t deal with my back tantrums any way but to spend my days with ice packs. When it starts I can feed the cats and that’s it. My back hurts every day...and I can get stuff done if I stop often...but when point agony fires up it stops me cold.

He doesn’t stay there long, but he always starts out there,
then he snuggles along side. He always has to jump up and nibble on my chin, then stick his nose in my eye!
THEN, he moves alongside.

Kitties and I are well...I have some house cleaning help now and it inspired some much needed closet editing, drawer editing and even started file editing....I have had to stop doing “projects” The back hated my good work!

So far I’ve been able to deal with my back tantrums with ice and heat but no pain meds other than aspirin. A high tolerance for pain helps. Just have to be careful how I do stuff and can manage. A little here, a little there. I’m grateful every day to be able to pull it off. Things could be worse.
