Once again, the Constitution has no "Noble Cause" clause and it's really disturbing to have folks who claim to believe in Constitutional Law and FReedom coming up with "pet peeves" they think it's OK for the government to enact to satisfy them - no different than those who want to ban guns...try investing yourself in the deal (donations/time, etc.) as there's nothing like having actual skin in the game to help one's mind work right.

According to a number of researchers and the CDC, the lifespan of an average, gay, Caucasian male, is about 20 years less than a heterosexual man born in approximately the same year.
Increased HIV/AIDS, lower intestinal diseases, STD’s, drug abuse, suicide and homicide likely are the biggest factors.
Nor will 100% of us won’t be dying in the next year just because because we poured a dram of scotch or enjoyed a nice glass of cabernet with our meals. Did you know that?
I have a glass of wine every year or so, so this is not about me.
This study is as trustworthy as all the other studies which find that it is good for you, bad for you, good for you, bad for you.
Reality: moderate use of alcohol is no worse than all the other indignities we hurl at our bodies. The poison is soon eliminated from the body by healthy liver and kidneys and we’re OK. The problem is keeping it moderate.
