They have an opportunity, here.

They can double down, or they can walk it back.

If they like the way things are going, where they are being seen as an increasingly partisan arm of Democrat politics, they can just keep doing what they are doing.

However, if they do not want to become political actors and want to maintain their position as centrists who serve all, they are going to have to change course pretty severely, and make a sincere effort to play this election fair.

They should keep in mind, when making this decision, the fact that Democrats always turn on their allies once they have exhausted their usefulness.

There will come a day when Big Tech becomes a political liability, and the Democrats will turn on them savagely and run them out of business. This is the Democrat way.

If they want to stay in business for the next twenty or thirty years, and make tons of money, year after year, they should make sure the Republican Party is around to protect free markets, the rule of law, and contracts.
