Any full time workers on stamps? Must be embarrassing to the company but they have no sense of shame. Another article yesterday suggested the rural public was subsidizing their electric bills. Trump will deal with it.

If you have a low-skill single mother with a few kids, it is very difficult to pay her above the level at which she’d be eligible for food stamps.

I believe it is now a majority of the children in this country who live in households receiving some such sort of government assistance.

Golly, ya ever think that maybe these folks are ones that squirted out and keep squirting out little dividends to increase their government bennies and it has not one damn thing to do with the employers who are not in the least responsible for how their employees live?

This is the same kind of people can't raise a family on minimum wage bullshit. WELL DUH!

The article about the electric was correct. And it’s not just Amazon getting their electric bills subsidized by residential customers. NYS and NYSEG have done this with some customers. And it really pi$$es me off.

I think many Freepers would be surprised at the number of full time workers who receive food stamps, medicaid, or earned income tax credits. Single mothers with children make up a lot of the low wage job workforce and they more often than not qualify for benefits. Heck, even my firefighter/emt son in law's child qualifies for free school lunches.
