A public filing shows In-N-Out Burger, California's famous burger chain, donated $25,000 to the Republican party this past week. After journalist Gabe Schneider broke the news, some people immediately called for a boycott of the restaurants.
The Hill reports California Democratic Party chairman Eric Bauman was one of the first to voice his opinion. "Et tu In-N-Out?" he tweeted on Thursday. "Tens of thousands of dollars donated to the California Republican Party... its time to #BoycottInNOut - let Trump and his cronies support these creeps... perhaps animal style!"
According to Fortune, this isn't the first time In-N-Out has supported the GOP. They reportedly donated $30,000 to the chain last year, but they also gave $50,000 this calendar year to Californians for Jobs and a Strong Economy, an organization that's supported Democratic candidates in the past.
Plenty support Bauman's call for a boycott:

I heard that food gave a big donation to Trump.
We’ll have to get some of their burgers over the weekend. Libs in CA...I thought they were into Sushi bars and health foods. Since when do they go to IN N OUT?
This country is conservative and conservatives make most of the home budgeting decisions. When it comes to fast food, to alienate conservatives is CRAZY. Liberals are so rootless and changeable I don’t know why people would care about their marketing decisions. What they do one week they may completely change next week. They can’t remember what happened one week to the next, who did what, who was responsible for what.
I had to laugh when Dicks - an outdoor supply - decided to trash their hunting guns - to the point of destroying them. That was INSANE. Liberal millennials don’t know Dicks exist anymore, out of sight out of mind. Conservative gun rights people will NEVER walk through those doors. EVER.
My son, at age 18 bought his first and last Mossberg from Dicks. He was stunned when he found out what they did. He told me he will NEVER Go there again, and I know he won’t.
That'll show them.
T-shirts are cool. I have a couple.
That sounds like Sodom Francisco.
Anticipating flying out there for a couple days to swear into the bar. May have every meal at an In-N-Out.
It will last about two days. The scumbags that are “boycotting” don’t go there to begin with. It’s like the dorks boycotting Chick Fil - A. How’d that work out?
For every lib that boycotts them, two conservatives
will try them for the first time and current conservustomers
will buy an additional burger.
Libs just can’t help shooting themselves in the foot.
New sign..Conservustomers Welcome!
If I wore that shirt in Georgia, all day long I’d be asked, “Whur’s Zat at?”.
They’ll Boycott during the day and sneak in at night and fill up ,LOL
LOL, you nailed it. I'm going to have one of their double-double's for lunch today if the lines aren't too long.
I usually don’t go to fast-food outlets. Simply hate McDonalds food. I do like going to burger diners instead; you know, the old-fashioned mom & pop hole-in-the-wall diners. It takes a few minutes more but the burgers are delicious with all the extras you want. The fast-food outlets are too cookie-cutter bland for me. I do like Chick-Fil-A for their chicken sandwiches, and go figure, tacos at Jack-In-The-Box. In-N-Out is okay but bland for me.
Don’t like them, but now I’ll go.
I bought a bowling ball from Dick's last year. Was considering buying some bicycle gear until the controversy started. Now I'll never go there again.
They aren’t anything memorable... the west coasts obsession with them I do not get in the least.....
I’ll be in line today!
That’s good news. Now I can go to yet another place and be assured of not being within 100 feet of a LIB lunatic and loser. Great!!!
