Yes, Cruz is controversial, but he is not stupid. He has been sucking up all the money he can get to win this race.
Beto OTOH is. He and Custer at the Little Bighorn have a lot in common. Neither know anything about Texas politics or have the deep pockets to survive if the race becomes hot and nasty.
Hide and watch, Cruz will beat him like a red-headed step child at the polls. He may even have some money left over.
Of course, unlike the fake media, I can be wrong. In that case never mind.
If Cruz beats him by more than 4 points I will be surprised.

They resent his original failure to disclose he was a Canadian, and they resent his traitorous performance at the convention.
Even though they accept all the BS of the primaries, it’s the convention that really gets to them. Well, him and those he presumes to speak for.
There will be some otherwise reliable Republicans that may not vote in this race.
