You dope heads need to prepare for prison. Did you know that dope never cured a disease and is unrecognized by the FDA as medicinal? You didn’t!!

Do you not realize there are countless legal substances that are far more impairing than pot and we have no law against their possession? Countless types of Rx drugs, alcohol, solvents, gases, unscheduled plants/drugs.

The law still protects all people at large by placing high penalties against operating impaired. NOT simply outlawing possession of a THING that is used without issue by 99% of people.

The law MUST be changed to be only against harming victims, not simple possession. Otherwise any agent of the state can plant a tiny package on anyone and declare them a criminal with no injured party needed. It allows police to make up crimes to meet any quota they wish. The rot from these laws is so deep that countless cops do it AND get away with zero jailtime. Prison population skyrockets, drug use is unaffected and tax dollars go down the drain to feed this best. ENOUGH

PS- Lack of sleep and tiredness are also far more impairing than pot. You can literally pass out at the wheel any second. It happens all the time. Yet we have no laws against working too hard to protect us from potentially sleepy private drivers. Even when it is clear people have no choice but to drive after exhausting shifts, gubmint does no investigations, no fines, no dog attacks, nothing. People diving home exhausted risk countless more lives than drunks every night.

It’s ALL a scam! Follow the money and STARVE the beast!

Bingo. If you can outlaw plants because of some idiots, you can eventually turn into a police state by outlawing everything that some idiot somewhere used to harm someone.

99.9% of gun owners you would have no idea. Then we have the idiots who play with guns or outright kill people. The anti 2nd amendment people will only point to that tiny group of idiots and yell “see, guns are bad and make you a maniac!”

“You dope heads need to prepare for prison. Did you know that dope never cured a disease and is unrecognized by the FDA as medicinal? You didn’t!!”

Yet millions of sick people take it and feel far better with far less side effects than synthetic Rx drugs. There are many documentated cases of people with extreme seizures who were INSTANTLY cured with small doses of pot. Countless people with cancer who could not eat and instantly recovered with help of pot.

FDA recognizes meth (yes, actual methamphetamine) as medicine for CHILDREN for “lack of attention”. As long as you pay the right people and hire the right scientists, the FDA will push anything under your brand.

The REAL problem with pot is that it isnt nearly as profitable as these deadly laboratory concoctions

“You think these elected politicians will vote for dope??”

A majority of Congress already has, several times:

“The $1.3 trillion budget Congress passed on March 23, 2018 included a rider that continues to bar the DOJ from enforcing the federal marijuana ban in some circumstances. It is identical in substance to the Rohrabacher-Farr (or Rohrabacher-Blumenauer) amendments Congress has passed each budget cycle since 2014 (see book pages 353-358). The latest rider will expire at the end of the federal government’s current fiscal year, September 30, 2018.

“Here is the text of the rider:

“SEC. 538. None of the funds made available under 4 this Act to the Department of Justice may be used, with respect to any of the States of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming, or with respect to the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico, to prevent any of them from implementing their own laws that authorize the use, distribution, possession, or cultivation of medical marijuana.” - https://my.vanderbilt.edu/marijuanalaw/2018/03/congresss-renews-doj-spending-rider/

Totally unconstitutional by a mile. Unequal protection. What is “ medical “. What a joke. Marijuana never cured a single illness. We need a national crack down with DEA involved. Marijuana never cleared by FDA!! That bill was an abortion. I cannot believe trump caved.

Your anti-liberty policy preferences are never coming to pass.

Your wasteful WOD has failed the nation in every way possible.

Sad that you wish to keep enriching criminal cartels.

Thankfully, you & those like you have been defeated at the ballot box in 9 states & this will gradually happen in every state over time.

‘No one has a “right” to get high an endanger other people’s lives.’

exactly...just ignore the very few bars serving intoxicating beverages in the very few towns across the country that allow them, and your point resounds in its eloquence...

figured this topic would send the troglodytes scurrying out of the caves...everybody hates repressive government, until his/her pet peeve gets stepped on, then it’s ‘bring in the heavy artillery, feds’...

Totally unconstitutional by a mile. Unequal protection.

States' rights. "Equal protection" is what leftists abuse to shove big government down our throats.

What is “ medical “. What a joke. Marijuana never cured a single illness.

Neither has insulin.

And, if you do that and endanger someone's life, you're charged with a crime. Duh!

One can consume alcohol, however, and not become intoxicated. Using recreational drugs almost always results in someone becoming intoxicated.

We already lose more people each year to drunk driving than to murder. How many more do you want to see die so losers have the "right" to get high?
