John is telling us he cannot pick the right people. Not the quality I want in the White House.

The voters rejected YOU not John Edwards. You are a sad excuse for an American. Quit acting like Hillary and “eat your peas.”
As long as we’re at it, while Hillary was the worst SoS in the modern era, you were a close 2nd. Trump has mostly undone your work to the benefit of America!

The one notable exception is McCain and Palin. Like many others, I held my nose and voted for McCain in the hope he would quickly stroke out so that Palin would become president.

Not one of these people could spell honor or dignity. They toss each other under the bus at the first opportunity and we expected Sessions to be loyal and honorable? Washington swamp rats are incapable.Lessons Learned. Plenty of FReepers still support Rip Van Recuse Me Sessions. Theyre not to be trusted either IMO

Unlike Kerry, Edwards had his own money (through his sleazy personal injury law practice) and didn’t need to marry an heiress.

To be honest in the beginning I did too, but finally had to admit Sessions is useless.
I understand why the President can not fire him, at least not yet. I do hope things change after the mid-terms.

I write in the book about the qualities that you are looking for when you choose a vice president and I think when you articulate those qualities and then you measure what took place against the qualities that I very much lay out there that youre looking for, it it didnt measure up. It wasnt what we had hoped for, he told host Margaret Brennan. So there was some disappointment in that. How very unfortunate. I wonder who was responsible for making the mistake of selecting him.

Did he say anything about how when he was Secretary of State his stepson and Joe Biden’s son became multi, multi-millionaires? I think perfumed princelings should be discussed. Why didn’t the national media ask about that?
Anyone know?

Kerry didn’t measure up. Edwards was actually pretty good all the way until he wasn’t. He had a serious womanizing flaw. Who did he think he was; JFK?

Former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry suggested in a Sunday CBS News interview that he regrets choosing John Edwards as his vice presidential running mate during the 2004 presidential elections. So Kerry is admitting that he screwed up just about the biggest decision of his candidacy - the choice of running mate. If Edwards didn't measure up - which was evident to anyone on FR - it's on Kerry for choosing him.
