I guess I could do a personal boycott on LS but I can't as I haven't bought a pair of their "overpriced" jeans since I was about 20y/o which was 36yrs ago. Same with any of their other overpriced crap.

I can buy a pair of Wranglers for half the price of a pair of Levi's.

FULS!

DAMN; but I guess I can switch to WRANGLER.
Worn Levis all my life, but WRANGLER is just as good a brand in my mind.
Just need to upgrade their pockets and PLEASE START MAKING REAL BELL BOTTOMS AGAIN.
They fit better over boots.

Publicity stunt by Berg, who's been advocating gun control for years “Please Leave your Weapons at Home”: Levi’s CEO Wades into Gun Debate (12/01/2016). Meanwhile, he asks customers not to wash their jeans in order to support environmental sustainability: "Berg is making good on his advice, as he hasn’t washed his own jeans in over a year."--Berg only believes in washed brains.

Sad to say, Wranglers jeans bailed
out of the U.S. If you’re looking for
100% American made, Panhandle Slim.
A Texas based company.
The last time I was in a western
wear store, ALL of their shirts
we’re made in Bangladesh.
I haven’t bought Levi’s since
1977, when the plant my wife worked
at, shut down, and laid off 400
hard working Americans.

letter to Levi’s “Since you don’t support our Inalienable right to own guns which is supported by our constitution, I no longer support your company- good riddance”

Have not bought Levis since the early 70's. They quickly priced themselves out of my meager funds.

Got sick of the routine of getting them wearable, breaking in cardboard. At $20+ a pair, why bother?

It helps that now I live in the tropics an never wear long trousers.

Needing only shorts does simplify things........../sarc

If they really want to reduce violence, they could contribute to help restore firearms training classes and shooting sports and ORTC too at all high schools. And they could contribute good firearms to school employees and church pastors or members to help
Protect people ( students , parishioners, etc). at their facilities I pick schools and churches because every Muslim terrorist ( and the police) recognize these places ( plus hospitals and nursing homes) as some of snerica’s Easiest “soft targets” to attack — do the above and most of this vulnerability and thus the violent attacks will be substantially reduced.

Destruction by commie anti- American management
Of a once- respected company. So sad. And they’ve stopped even making their pants in USA, too —-Levi’s can GTH!

I wore shrink-to-fit 501s for decades, as regular pants did not fit me without alterations.

I gave them up when they outsourced: sizing and sewing became very inferior and extremely unpredictable.

Wranglers were always better fitting, had better pockets, and were flexible.

The first and last pair of Levis I bought almost castrated me when I bent over. Never wore them again.

Leave it to a liberal to fuck up a good company.

I quit wearing Levi's long ago as they would not hold up to the wear and tear of work. Carhartt makes a better jean and clothing.

It’s ironic when a company that is self proclaimed as a “values driven company” has their values rooted in evil.

In 2005 LS shut down GWG, which had been a leading clothing manufacturer (The GWG product was superior in every way to any other jean I have owned to this day) originating in Edmonton in 1904-ish.
This after shutting down all activities other than sales west of Burlington Ontario in the early 1990s.

I haven’t bought Levis in a LONG time.

If only there were other jeans manufacturers to turn to. Oh wait - there are!

Bye bye, levi.

The funny thing about Nike, and now Levi Strauss, is that their value is in their brand, not their products. There are dozens of other items manufactured in third world hell holes that are just as good (or bad) as Strauss and Nike products. Just because some wimpy little liberal CEO or board of directors wants to make a political point, doesn't mean the customers will all love it. As MJ says: "Conservatives buy shoes, too."

It is very easy to kill a brand. Nike, and now Strauss, have proven it.
