I can buy a pair of Wranglers for half the price of a pair of Levi's.
FULS!
Do they even make anything in the United States?
I gave Levi’s the middle finger decades ago.
Maybe they can recover their losses from real men with gay rear zipper jeans.
Levis. The genes for sissy boys. Real men and Cowboys wear a man’s jean. Real women too!
I haven’t owned a pair of Levi jeans since about the mid-1990s. Screw ‘em.
“Hey Mr.Berg, did you inform the criminals with guns that they too aren’t allowed to bring them into any of your facilities?”
And the Wranglers last longer too.
The Wranglers will last longer, too.
Too bad Hitler isn’t here to help them.
Man some folks are thick.
It’s like all the corporations are striking at once. It’s really odd.
Well, law enforcement and criminals who want to shoot up their stores.
Funny how, after so many years of shootings in gun-free zones, some people still think the "solution" to gun violence is telling more law-abiding people not to provide protection.
Another idiot company. Will never buy another pair of Levis. I’ll go with Wrangler, Carhart or Duluth Trading or Dickies.
“Chip Berg, CEO of Levi Strauss, wrote an open letter to his customers asking them not to bring firearms onto the premises of their stores, offices or other facilities.”
Other facilities? I wonder if he is speaking of manufacturing plants in the U.S.?
If anyone knows of a LS manufacturing plant in the U.S., please let me know where.
I don’t think the Chairman has to worry about their overseas slave labor showing up to work with guns.
I quit buying levi’s back when they started putting the fag tags on them years ago, so no great loss for me. But just another company, like nike, I will never buy from again. If these companies had any sense, they’d stay away from political issues, but alas, they dont.
Good luck wit dat Chippy.
The Conservative Treehouse puts it all together, including the same dynamic with Nike: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/09/04/nike-and-levis-strauss-political-business-strategy-the-much-bigger-geopolitical-and-trade-picture/
Sure seems to me like what at least should be an illegal laundering of foreign government influence in our politics.
FTA: gun violence prevention.”
This is GREAT NEWS!! Levi’s is going to arm teachers!
Like most on this thread, stopped buying their stuff in the 90’s. Only with me, it was because they pulled support from the boy scouts for not allowing homosexual scout masters. Started buying my stuff from LL Bean on line.
Another company I boycotted at the same time for the same reason was Radio Shack. One down, one to go.
If Guns were outlawed, what would stop people from carrying around a gallon of gasoline and matches? The Perfect terrorist tool, by the way. Cheap-easy-terrifying and can’t be stopped.
