The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay. We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure. President Trump is facing a test to his presidency unlike any faced by a modern American leader.
It’s not just that the special counsel looms large. Or that the country is bitterly divided over Mr. Trump’s leadership. Or even that his party might well lose the House to an opposition hellbent on his downfall.
The dilemma — which he does not fully grasp — is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations. I would know. I am one of them.
To be clear, ours is not the popular “resistance” of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.
But we believe our first duty is to this country, and the president continues to act in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic.
That is why many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve our democratic institutions while thwarting Mr. Trump’s more misguided impulses until he is out of office.

[Over the last few minutes I have come to the conclusion this is an effort to topple the United States.]
If one were going to have a New World Order, then one would have to make sure the United States was no longer an independent, self-governing Constitutional Republic.
Any pro-America, pro-American, independent-thinking, anti-NWO politician would have to be smeared, lied about, marginalized, painted as unstable, and portrayed as a collaborator with foreign governments.
Propaganda towards this goal would have to be pushed at all levels with a constant drumbeat to further weaken the minds of the already-weak-minded sheep.
Then, the last bastion would pretty much be Israel.
Oddly enough, the Antichrist creates a New World Order of Nations that try to destroy Israel in the Last Days.
Or, this just may be an incredible coincidence. (yes that part was a joke)

Won’t be there long. Trump is a businessman, not a politician — that means goals, tracking to goals, and deliverables. Failure to move forward means failing at your job, and you will be fired. It’s impossible for someone to “drag their feet” and up-end Trump’s agenda. He’ll clear you out and get someone capable of doing the job.
If I remember correctly, part of McCain-loving, deep-stater Comey's book (which I didn't read) was said to refer to Trump in similar terms to the ones in this "editorial", and for a very brief period, he was inside the Trump administration, so he might have had something to do with this article (if it really was written by someone connected at some point to the Trump administration, which I doubt).
Whether we all understand the last book of the Bible or not, it is clear that things are not getting better. Even though we have who I think God would want to lead our nation right now, I am not convinced he Trump will prevail. Unless God intervenes and strikes down the evil, we may not see this ship of state righted.
Perhaps evil is playing it’s last hand. Perhaps God’s goal of letting evil play out so the universe could see what evil will always lead to, has been satisfied.
Perhaps this is part of God’s plan that those of us who still respect him and love our nation, will be satisfied that the United States could not prevail against evil unleashed, as we see events transpire.
I’m not a man that has lived a perfect life, and I’m not trying to preach to anyone. I would tell folks that they should study up a bit, watch events as they unfold, and decide for themselves if the God of Israel is someone they should honor more.
