ICE Raids Dairy Farm Where Illegal Alien Accused of Killing Mollie Tibbetts Worked
Breitbart ^ | 9/7/2018 | John Binder

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency raided Yarrabee Farms on Thursday – the Brooklyn, Iowa dairy farm where an illegal alien worked before being charged with murdering 20-year-old college student Mollie Tibbetts.

Last month, law enforcement announced that Tibbetts’ body was found in a cornfield in her rural hometown of Brooklyn, Iowa after she was last seen jogging on July 18.

Illegal alien Cristhian Bahena-Rivera, a 24-year-old from Mexico, has been charged with first-degree murder in Tibbetts’ death after police say he admitted to confronting and chasing down the young woman. The illegal alien lived in a region of Iowa that was surrounded by sanctuary cities, as Breitbart News noted, and an initial autopsy report revealed that Bahena-Rivera allegedly stabbed Tibbetts to death.

On Thursday, ICE agents led an investigation at Yarrabee Farms where Bahena-Rivera worked since 2014 when he was first hired using an alias and stolen ID. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation was also present during the raid, but officials said they were only there to assist ICE and the Department of Homeland Security.

In a statement to Breitbart News, ICE officials said the agency “didn’t have any comment to offer at this time,” with no indication as to whether other illegal alien workers were detained and taken into custody.

That dairy farm where Bahena-Rivera worked, Yarrabee Farms, owns the property and trailer where the illegal alien had been living and which, allegedly, many Mexican nationals frequented, as Breitbart News reported.

an initial autopsy report revealed that Bahena-Rivera allegedly stabbed Tibbetts to death.

No, an initial autopsy report revealed that Tibbetts was stabbed to death. The alleged perpetrator of the stabbing was Bahena-Rivera.

The first part, "stabbed to death," is a firm fact. The second part, "allegedly by," is a literary convention which garbles many an article about crime. "The alleged suspect died at the scene."

I am of the opinion that E-Verify could be a valuable tool to identify identity fraud and mitigate the illegal alien hires using fraudulent IDs.

If the IRS and SSN databases were consulted via the E-Verify to look for common problems such as SSNs with different addresses, multiple employers, ages, etc. there would be less opportunity for illegal aliens to slip between the cracks. I would also submit that if a business were to receive an E-Verify “verification” code, that could be used as proof by the business that they have done their due diligence in investigating the individual’s right to work with the US.

More enforcement against employers is necessary.
Denying illegal aliens jobs and benefits is necessary to get them to go home.

I can only imagine how the POS Fraud would have handled this situation.

Probably would have sent the farm taxpayer cash.

Sometimes I try to remember if journalism was ever better. I think it was but these days have sandblasted the old days out of my memory.

We do not have to wait for illegal aliens to harm or kill Americans before they are removed.

They are illegal aliens.

That is enough to remove them.

They should not be allowed the opportunity to commit more crimes.

Composition skills were better. Writers could relate events in a comprehensible way, correctly employing English vocabulary, grammar, and syntax. Whether the stories were true or not is a separate question: the myth of “objective journalism” is just that, a myth.

Any illegal alien being arrested for a crime should automatically trigger an immediate ICE raid on his employer.

They are not fooling the Chicago Tribune:”Rivera was arrested and charged with murder last month in the stabbing death of Tibbetts”

Was it a raid or a visit?
“Immigration enforcement agents and state criminal investigators on Thursday visited the Iowa dairy farm”
“Yarrabee Farms said in a statement that it was cooperating with investigators who had asked to visit the farm.”

Owner should be arrested.

He was sheltering a criminal, who committed murder.

I would at least sue that son-of-bitch into a hole in the ground.

Didn’t he present false documents in order to get hired? How is that the fault of the employer?

Please. "Bahena-Rivera worked since 2014 when he was first hired using an alias and stolen ID"

How do you suppose the law determined this guy was not who his documents said he was after he was arrested for murder? "Gee, Andy, this picture show him with red hair and freckles!"

How do you suppose the ICE agents are sorting through the wetbacks from the local farm boys today? "Okay fellers, if you got something to say now is the time?"

Have you ever seen faked wetback I.D. materials? I have, and they're not persuasive. A cop friend of mine says 9 out of ten illegals he pulls over have papers that are immediately discernable as fake.

In these parts they just haven't bothered with it, though they are pushing harder now since, one, drugs have hit the area big-time, and two, since the election of President Trump.

Lastly, are you going to pretend to yourself that 95% of the farm workers, including the owner, didn't know this guy was illegal?

The fake documents are to cover the owner's ass, not to PROVE this murdering shred of filth was actually American.
