FULL TITLE: Now Elon Musk faces US Air Force investigation into his wild weed-smoking podcast because the drug-taking breaches SpaceX security clearance rules

The US Air Force is looking into Elon Musk after he smoked marijuana during a wild, rambling two-and-a-half-hour podcast streamed live onto YouTube, it emerged on Friday.

Marijuana use is prohibited for people with government security clearance, which Musk gained in 2015 when his company SpaceX started launching satellites for the Pentagon.

The US Air Force told DailyMail.com a formal investigation is not underway at this time, but would not rule out that members of the department were looking into the incident. An Air Force source confirmed to CNBC that staff were examining the podcast.

Tesla shares plunged this morning after the Tesla founder smoked and drank whiskey while discussing everything from drugs to the possibility we're all living in a simulation.

If musky loses his clearance, then he cannot know who the government contractors are, anything about payloads, or secret/future plans if any. He’ll be a leader in abstentia. BFR is dead until he leaves the company or the company folds,

the coarse and mundane Rogan

I can understand using salty language on occasion and in private, but this Rogan guy swears in front of the camera while interviewing his guests.

Totally ruins the show.

Believe in Smoke something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.

Nonsense. Only if he fails a drug test. Smoking (something?) is not a federal crime, possession is. Where is the evidence? (answer: up in smoke)... kinda hard to prove it was a controlled substance without physical evidence.

They have these new-fangled things called drug tests.

Musk truly believes we are all living in a “simulator”

This, is what has sent the stock price and everyone reeling.

The mad genius, capitalist, environmentalist is basically declaring that he is not in control of his decisions.

On the other hand, it’s the “perfect” defense for anything. Just claim the “programmer” made him do it.

It seems that Elon Musk is in a deep state of physical decline. Recent images of him show significant weight gain, puffy face and aging. Below are photos of him just a few years apart.

He's going downhill fast

He's living a lie and it's catching up to him.

His financial life is a house of cards dependent on government subsidies.

He's a modern day Ponzi and Tesla will be the modern day Tucker or Edsel.

Genius? Maybe.

Loser? Definitely

When he publicly accused a rescuer in the Thai cave flood of being a pedophile, he proved that he shouldn’t do tweets and press releases, either.

This is ridiculous!

Musk is a CEO, not involved in the nuts and bolts operation.

.
He wanted the stock price to drop significantly, so that he could buy it more easily.

It could be the reason he did it, but I doubt that they could prove he did anything from a video.

Dude needs to take a year-long leave of absence and have a live-in life-coach to get back on track. I’ve seen 4.0 engineering students like this, too. They’re so used to being the little prodigy that can do no wrong that they just expect it to last forever. When they start a project that they can’t make work, they just fall apart and completely spiral. That’s what we’re seeing here. Elon thought that he could make Tesla work by putting in 20 hour days and sleeping at the factory. When he got it through his head that he couldn’t turn it around, he just mentally crashed.

Yep. For the first time in his life, one of his hair-brained schemes (Tesla) isn’t working. As a life-long prodigy that always landed on his feet like a cat, he’s not handling it well.

Musk has shown a few other mental lapses, too. Like the time that one of his rockets exploded during a failed fuel system test and he accused a rival aerospace company (ULA, United Launch Alliance) of sabotage. His “evidence” was that during the test, video showed a shadow that might have been a person on a nearby ULA rooftop. It’s like accusing a pedestrian for your car accident for no other reason than him standing on that street corner.

breaches SpaceX security clearance rules

SpaceX doesn't make those rules, the US Govt. does. Yep, smoking dope is grounds to yank your security clearance.

The law doesn’t care if you’re there to sweep the floors. If you have a security clearance and break the rules, your clearance can be suspended or revoked.
