I have no idea why he’s doing interviews. The first bad one was with the NYTimes and now this one. Neither has done him any good.

Musk is nutty, but Bill Clinton’s stupid ‘I Didn’t Inhale’ defense actually seems applicable here.

Perhaps marijuana has something to do with it.

I had a lot of respect for Musk but I think we are witnessing his becoming unhinged.

Is he having some sort of midlife crisis?

Some people would rather lose access to outer space than give up on hyperpuritanism down here on earth.

It seems that Elon Musk is in a deep state of physical decline. Recent images of him show significant weight gain, puffy face and aging. Below are photos of him just a few years apart.
He's going downhill fast.

He says he rarely smokes it, because it affects his productivity.

Isn’t he dating some type of Rock-n-Roller..?
Boy, that joint helped NOTHING —the most needlessly reckless thing he has ever done.

This guy is too overexposed and he seems to be committing passive aggressive suicide by cop.

He smoked it on a live video stream which probably indicates that his judgment is impaired.

“Perhaps marijuana has something to do with it.”
You may be right if he is binging on it. However when someone becomes a billionaire then everyone they know personally starts to suck up to them and they cease to get called out on bad behavior and, lacking necessary negative feedback, they behavior becomes more erratic. It is the spoiled child syndrome.
Also marijuana, like any drug affects everyone differently due to their personality, brain chemistry, and other factors. It is like alchohol where two drinks can one man genial and relaxed, another belligerent, another morose, and another goes to sleep.
Any thinking individual should be able to determine if a particular drug is good or bad for them.

Musk has always had his negative attributes. A person can read his biography and see that. But his positive attributes far outweigh them and still do.

He smoked it on a live video stream. That would indicate impaired judgement to me.

The Rogan interview was a fascinating window into Musk’s mindset...the only negative was the coarse and mundane Rogan himself.
Too bad Dick Cavett isn’t still around.
