Like that would be bad?
Trump and the dirty polluters can't stop it, renewables are replacing fossil fuels
Easy. Why deny climate change? I don’t. It has been occurring naturally for millions of years. What is preposterous is that we have any significant control over it other than controlled climate in our homes and cars.
Zero evidence? Since when was that a criteria to have evidence?
The question is: “How Can Climate Change Hysterics Respond to their Denial of Science?”
... summarized as "The end is Nye" and, spoken in a hushed whisper: "and it's Trump's fault the Earth is doooooomed."
Huh? Accidental/unintentional double tap.
The existence of Hurricanes is proof of Global Warming.
Lack of Hurricanes is proof of Global Warming.
Warm weather is proof of Global Warming.
Cold weather is proof of Global Warming.
Wet weather is proof of Global Warming.
Dry weather is proof of Global Warming.
All weather is proof of Global Warming.
Katy Tur doesn’t ‘get it’... Hurricanes have existed for thousands of years... long before the ‘climate change’ hysterics started.
See #48 of this thread. Maybe you missed the memo too.
How does Tur think that being a “climate change denier” would make a first responder less capable to respond?

Global Warming has made hurricanes worse?
I am all too familiar with Camille.
Katy is ignorant
She has no science, especially no physics.
She has no comprehension of the complex play of temperatures and pressures that produce and act on the atmosphere to produce and control hurricanes.
Ummm, Katy Tur's a paranoid frightened liberal hysteric who thinks her 'feelings' trump reality... That's my guess.
This is an interesting article on the frequency of hurricanes, using data that goes up through about 2012:
http://www.hurricanescience.org/science/science/climate/longtermrecordsofhurricaneactivity/
It is not at all a ‘climate denier’ site. They even cite the standard global temperature increase data that all global warming advocates cite (which uses questionable data)
But then they examine the record of Atlantic hurricanes. They note that a few more small hurricanes have been detected since the 1960s, which would not have been detected before the advent of satellites.
Their conclusions: “One record of hurricane activity that has somewhat more reliability is the number of hurricanes striking the United States going back into the 19th Century. This shows quite pronounced year-to-year variations with as many as 7 hurricane strikes in 1886 and 6 in both 2004 and 2005 and as few as none occurring many years, the most recent being 2009. No significant long term up or down trend is apparent in this record.”
There is NO long term trend in quantity or severity of hurricane strikes.
It is utterly irresponsible and unscientific of news reports to try to blame individual hurricanes on global warming.
***If it wasnt for climate change, Chicago would still be under a mile of ice.***
Back in 1976, Chicago was supposed to be under a mile of ice by now, due to “THE COMING ICE AGE!”
