On her 2:00 p.m. ET hour show on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Katy Tur predictably exploited Hurricane Florence to push the lefts climate change agenda and condemn deniers in the Trump administration. She brought on liberal environmental activist Bill Nye and ex-Clinton administration official Paul Bledsoe to provide even more alarmist rhetoric.
President Trump says FEMA is ready for Hurricane Florence, but mounting evidence suggests it could incredibly difficult to deal with this disaster if climate change deniers are on the front lines of emergency response, Tur proclaimed at the top of the segment. She then touted a new study echoing the findings of previous research showing climate change as the cause of warmer ocean conditions that produce fast, intensifying storms like Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.
Tur fretted over the White House policy agenda:
But where does the Trump administration stand on climate change? Well, just yesterday, President Trump rolled back Obama-era mandates blocking rogue methane leaks from and oil and gas wells. Last month, the EPA weakened a rule limiting carbon dioxide pollution from coal-fired power plants. And in July, the agency reduced regulations capping greenhouse gas emissions from automobiles. These rules were all part of Obamas three-part strategy for combating climate change.
The host turned first to Nye, who climbed atop his usual climate change soapbox:

People who believe it’s possible to change one’s sex are calling us deniers of science?
Wow... talk about non-sequitors and hyperbole.
'mounting evidence' ? of what?
'could be difficult'? yes... it also could not- if Trump manages to kick ass and have agencies READY rather than just responding afterwards...
"If climate change deniers are on the front line"...? What does that even mean?
On a worldwide scale, May is the least active month, while SEPTEMBER is the most active.
In the Northern Atlantic Ocean, a distinct hurricane season occurs from June 1 to November 30, sharply peaking from late August through September;
the season's climatological peak of activity occurs around September 10 each season.
IDIOTS!!! It's Hurrican season right now!!!!
Notice how they switch back and forth between MAN MADE CLIMATE CHANGE and CLIMATE CHANGE? Two different subjects.
You can deny one while accepting the other.
Well ... since hurricanes have been happening since the dawn of time, and there were some monster sized hurricanes long before evil SUVs came along, I’d say things are normal. That’s how I’d respond.
Simple.
We asked the God Emperor to break up the eyewall, and he was happy to answer our pleadings.

Man-made climate change is *real*,Mr McMurtry!
Has he ever thought of HISTORY? If I recall, hurricanes have been a fact of life for generations. My guess is that they’ve been around almost since the beginning.
Most all of them originate in Africa. Maybe he should start blaming the Africans? LOL!
If it wasn’t for climate change, Chicago would still be under a mile of ice.
What a bunch of jerks... Apparently the planet never had a hurricane until Al Gores rantings about global warming/climate change.
> How can we “deniers” respond? <
And that’s the key question. Climate change “deniers” are not allowed to respond!
Go on a MSM news show, and you’ll be shouted down. Participate in a debate, and you’ll be shouted down. Speak at a university, and you’ll be shouted down.
Following this tortured illogic, it could be incredibly difficult to deal with a major church fire if Jewish firefighters are on the front lines of this emergency response.
Katy, its called “weather”. It happens.
Every time is like the first time ever for some people, they have no more recollection than a guppy, of anything that happened more than ten seconds ago.
Kind of a collective Alzheimer’s syndrome. Repeating over and over gains some momentary comprehension, but the same question comes up again in a few minutes.
A hurricane is what it is, and no amount of reduction of carbon dioxide, or increase in taxation rate tables, will do one blessed thing to mitigate the frequency and intensity of hurricanes one whit.
And cutting taxes to the very minimum, denying all funding for professors to direct a crew of post-graduate studies in arcane and unrelated coincidences that have no causation effects, or increasing the carbon dioxide so something like for or five times its current atmospheric level will not increase the frequency or intensity of hurricanes, or any other weather phenomena, either.
The science is by no means “settled”. Science is a process, not a book of assured facts, subject to unvarying replication.
You cannot argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with their experience...
By throwing people like Katy Tur into an active volcano to appease the weather gods.
Since there is zero evidence that Hurricanes are the product of global warming, why are these issues related?
