My reaction was that she was so frail and debilitated that, even if her mind was clear, her clerks were doing just about all of her work. It’s hard to believe she could generate the energy needed to sustain the argument for a complex opinion.
I totally agree. It is astounding that she does have the integrity to stand independent of the Democrats' behavior at this juncture. Nothing wrong with her intellect.

I don’t like her approach to cases but I concur that while she is in terrible shape physically, her mind is still there and she has a point - she was confirmed 96-3 back when there was still some opinion that presidents had the right to put their nominees on the Court, unless you had a crook like Abe Fortas or Swimmer Kennedy, of all people, was able to raise cain about Bork’s background. The current process is a circus, the Dems have no desire to give the President the slightest leeway and in contrast, you have a real old bat, Feinstein, whose mind apparently separated from her body years ago, who tries to block Kavanagh at the last minute with some “he and his buds locked me in a bedroom but I got out” letter.

The Ginsberg we see on the interview is hard to reconcile with the videos of her working out in the gym and this interview was almost certainly carefully scripted and staged. It almost a certainty that Ginsberg was given the questions to the interview long beforehand and her answer suggest that she rehearsed her answers and had coaching
I would not be surprised if there were many takes of each question and they cherry picked the best and most coherent response
