Conservative news giant Matt Drudge on Friday made a somber prediction about Republicans chances in the November midterm elections, predicting President Donald Trump will see his party lose 60 seats in the House of Representatives.
Drudge, who runs the influential Drudge Report, compared the upcoming midterms to the electoral bloodbath Democrats suffered in the 2010 midterm elections under former President Barack Obama.

Yep, and it will be interesting to see how many folks are singing McConnell's praises after that.
He’s just posting wishful thinking. But hey, if the possibility of that helps light a fire under Republicans, then good. Our side should be working like we’re way behind.
>>If it does happen it will show that the last two years have been the biggest wasted opportunity that Republicans in Congress have ever been given.
LOL. Thinking of Republicans as the political adversary of the Democrats was your first mistake. The two parties only disagree on who will eventually own you and I.
If the dems take either the house or the senate it’s all over but the screaming and the dying. That’s if we put up a fight...we might just go out with a whimper.
I hope they keep running this kind of nonsense all the way to election day.
Long ago Drudge became part of the anti-Trump brigade.
This may be the beginning of his own self-diminishment.
I would rephrase.
Screaming and killing
Wirh apologies to General Patton, we must not die for our country. We must kill for our country
Um, did you notice that Drudge added “Unless ”?
That’s kind of the whole point of his tweet.
And he’s right. Unless there is a good turnout for our side, their side could pull some upsets.
Cut off never-Trumper drudge and now only go to thelibertydaily.com
With cnn and now drudge predicting a dim landslide, hopefully the rats won’t show up at the polls lol.
I think this is BS. Unless the cheating is massive. But we can hope that this lights a fire under republicans butts to get out and vote.
As for Matt Drudge.... He has gone deep state.
Five objections: Neil Goresuch, Bret Kavanaugh, Jerusalem, tax cuts and deregulation.
Okay, Matt -- unless?
(I dunno how it follows. Obama's approval was distributed more uniformly over the US than Trump's. Those blue congressional districts can't get any bluer.)
I suspect we'll see lots of continued reports saying Blue Wave or Red Wave. Lots of speculation. I'm sure there will be surprises come November but I seriously doubt it will be an overall Republican rout.
Unfortunately Drudge’s term “bloodbath” was a metaphor and a real one might be on the way, God forbid.
Dems and socialists already have set the tone for targeting us for being “hate speech” supremacists who o be shot or slashed like Scalise and now others, too. Egged on my Maxine with no punishment to her, so emboldened like nasty children doing more mayhem.
If banks (debit cards, savings and checking accounts) and Master Card and Visa (no dealings allowed with NRA purchases for example) make it impossible for us to get our earned money to feed our families and pay bills on time (and cash is already suspicion of criminal activity-—Michael Savage has a nightly “The War on Cash” ad about that topic) then the “bath” may be more than metaphorical.
“Thinking of Republicans as the political adversary of the Democrats was your first mistake. The two parties only disagree on who will eventually own you and I.”
You sure have a way of putting things.
I wish I could disagree with you, but the evidence is squarely in your corner.
But this Russia thing has dragged on for so long and zapped a lot of energy and attention away from the real story- the dynamic economy.
The press doesn't want to cover the good news, and the Mueller investigation has given them bad news to print for two years. Come November, whatever happens in the election, Trump needs to starting kicking ass and taking names. Otherwise, this stuff will go on until 2020.

“If you are glad to have a job vote Republican.”
Short and sweet.
